Chief Of Defence Staff Nigerian Armed Forces Held One On One Meeting With CNS Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi At NAVAL HQ Islamabad:

Chief of Defense Staff Nigerian Armed Forces General Lucky Eluonye Onyenuchea held One On One, high-profile meeting with CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi at NAVAL HQ Islamabad on Friday, April 22, 2022, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Naeem Sarwar said in an official statement. 

According to the details, the Chief of Defense Staff Nigerian Armed Forces General Lucky Eluonye Onyenuchea visits NAVAL HQ Islamabad and meets with the PAKISTAN NAVAL CHIEF (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi.

During the meeting, both the dignitaries discussed various matters related to the mutual and professional interest and the recent regional security situation.

“During the meeting matters of mutual interest incl bilateral collaboration &regional security were discussed. The visiting dignitary appreciated PN efforts in regional maritime security,” DGPR NAVY said.

The Chief of Defense Staff Nigerian Armed Forces General Lucky Eluonye Onyenuchea highly lauded the various efforts and initiatives taken by the PAKISTAN NAVY, including the Regional Maritime Security Patrols (RMSP), for the maintaining the regional peace and stability.

On the occasion, CNS Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi said that both Brotherly ISLAMIC Countries, PAKISTAN and Nigeria, enjoyed longstanding religious, cultural and historical bonds, which were manifested through the strong bilateral and defense ties between both the Brotherly ISLAMIC Countries.

The Chief of Defense Staff Nigerian Armed Forces General Lucky Eluonye Onyenuchea highly lauded the professionalism of PAKISTAN NAVY and acknowledged the indigenization of PAKISTAN NAVY by adopting the policy of self-reliance and self-sufficiency.

It is expected that the recent high-profile visit of Nigerian Chief of Defense Staff will help to further enhance the bilateral relations between both the Brotherly ISLAMIC Countries, PAKISTAN and Nigeria, in a wide range of domains, including Security and Defense.
