PAF Commemorates Shooting Down Of israeli air force Mirage Aircraft By PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Flight Lieutenant Sattar Alvi Over Golan Heights Without A Single Loss During Arab-israeli War:
PAKISTAN AIR FORCE, the Guardians of the Sacred Skies of Sacred Country PAKISTAN, commemorates the shooting down of israeli air force Mirage Aircraft by PAF ACE Flight Lieutenant Sattar Alvi over the Golan Height during the Arab-israeli war on 26th April, 1974, PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Media Wing Head DGPR AIR FORCE Air Vice Marshal Tariq Zia said in an official statement.
According to the details, the PAF ACE Flight Lieutenant Sattar Alvi destroyed the israeli air force Mirage Aircraft in air to air combat that had intruded into the Syrian Airspace over the Golan Heights.
“PAF ACE Flt. Lt. Sattar Alvi, shot down an israeli Air Force Mirage aircraft during an aerial combat in Syria and thus became the one and only pilot in the history with this rare feat,” DGPR AIR FORCE Air Vice Marshal Tariq Zia said.
PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Flight Lieutenant Sattar Alvi was on deputation to the No. 67 Squadron of Syrian Air Force and was flying the SAF MiG-21FL Fishbed out of Dumayr Air Base in Brotherly ISLAMIC Country Syria.
The SAF MiG-21FL Fishbed fighter jet was flying in a two-ship formation by the PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Flight Lieutenant Sattar Alvi with a fellow PAF Flight Leader and Pilot Squadron Leader Arif Manzoor.
The Ground Controller at Syrian Air Base, Squadron Leader Salim Metla vectored both the Brace PAF ACE Pilots to a formation of two incoming israeli air force Mirage IIICJs and 2 F-4 Phantoms that had intruded to the Syrian Airspace over the Golan Heights.
While totally pinning down the israeli air force fighter jets, the PAF ACE Flight Lieutenant Sattar Alvi forces the israeli pilot into air to air combat or dogfight.
During the dogfight, the PAF ACE Flight Lieutenant Sattar Alvi successfully destroyed the israeli Mig-21 Fighter Jet, which was flying by israeli pilot lutz, by firing the K-13 Air-to-Air Missile.
After the destruction of the israeli fighter jet by the PAKISTAN AIR FORCE ACE Pilots, the remaining israeli fighter jet ran away back into their territory by aborting the mission behind.
After successfully destroying the israeli ego and fighter jet, the PAF ACE Flight Lieutenant Sattar Alvi became the first and only Fighter Pilot in the history that has accomplished this rare feat.

It is pertinent to mention that PAKISTAN AIR FORCE destroyed the israeli fighter jet in air to air combat without losing a single Pilot or Aircraft during the Arab-israeli war.
On this act of Gallantry of destroying israeli air force fighter jet, the PAF ACE Flight Lieutenant Sattar Alvi was decorated with the Coveted Sitara-e-Jurrat by the Government of PAKISTAN and Wisaam Faris and Wisaam Shujaat by the Government of Syria, respectively.
