“Unknown Assailants” brutally killed 4 iranian Police officers like rabid dogs in restive Sistan province near Border of Sacred Country PAKISTAN on Sunday, 23rd July 2023.
According to the details, 4 highly trained iranian police officers were on a patrol in the restive province of Sistan in their police car, when “Unknown Assailants” open fire on their car.
As a result, all 4 highly trained iranian police officers were killed like rabid dogs in their car during the attack carried out by the “Unknown Assailants” in the restive Sistan province.
3 highly trained iranian police officers were killed on the spot, while the 4th one succumbed to his wounds.
No group has claimed the responsibility of this attack, so far. The circumstances of the attack were not immediately clear.
Unrest in the impoverished Sistan-Baluchistan province has involved drugs-smuggling gangs, rebels from the Baluchi minority and extremist groups.
On July 8, two policemen and four assailants were killed in a grenade and gun battle in the province during an attack later claimed by the jihadist Jaish al-Adl group.
In late May, IRNA quoted a police official, Qassem Rezaee, as saying “Taliban forces” had shot at an Iranian police station in Sistan-Baluchistan, a drought-parched region which also borders Afghanistan. The two countries have been arguing over water rights.
In May, five Iranian border guards died in clashes with an armed group in Saravan southeast of Zahedan, the provincial capital of Sistan-Baluchistan.
Zahedan was also the scene of protests that flared last September, with dozens of deaths, over the alleged rape of a teenage girl by a police officer.
