CHIEF OF AIR STAFF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan held One on One important meeting with Sri Lankan Secretary of Defense & State Minister of National Security & Disaster Manager General (r) G.D.H Kamal Gunaratne at the Sri Lankan Ministry of Defense, PAKISTAN AIR FORCE DGPR said in an official Statement.

According to the details released by the DGPR PAF, both dignitaries held One on One important discussion. During the meeting, various matters of mutual interest and recent regional security came under discussion.

On the occasion, General (r) Gunarante said both the Brotherly Countries, PAKISTAN and Sri Lanka, enjoys commonality of views on various International and Regional Issues.

“Gen Gunaratne (Retd) said that both countries enjoy commonality of views on various regional & int’l issues. He also expressed his gratitude to Air Chf Mshl Mujahid Anwar Khan for attending the 70th Anniversary Celebrations of SLAF,” DGPR PAF said.

During the occasion, Sri Lankan Minister General (r) Gunaratne expressed his deep gratitude to the CHIEF OF AIR STAFF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan for attending the 70th Anniversary Celebrations of Sri Lankan Air Force.

Sri Lankan General (r) Gunaratne also added the recent visit of CAS Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan was the manifestation of the strong relationship and bond between the Armed, Naval And Air Forces of both the countries.

“Gen Gunaratne (Retd) also stated that Air Chief’s visit was the manifestation of the strong bond between the Armed Forces of both the countries, especially the two Air Forces,” DGPR PAF added.

“Air Chf Mshl Mujahid Anwar Khan lauded the efforts of Sri Lankan Armed Forces against terrorism, expressed solidarity of PAKISTANI Nation with Sri Lanka & assured of PAK’s support & cooperation.  He also expressed his gratitude for hospitality extended to him during the visit,” DGPR PAF added.

CAS Air Chief Marshal important meeting with Sri Lankan Minister of Defense

During the occasion, CAS Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan highly commended and lauded the efforts of Sri Lankan Armed Force against the terrorism and expressed the complete solidarity of the Brave PAKISTANI Nation with Sri Lanka in each time of need.

Both the dignitaries agreed on further enhancing the bilateral cooperation between the Two Brotherly Countries in professional enhancement programs and training.

On the occasion, CAS Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan also attended a banquet dinner as the Guest of Honor. The dinner which was hosted by the Commander Sri Lanka Air Force, attended by the President of Sri Lanka, Services Chiefs along with high ranking Military Officials of Sri Lanka.
