AIR STAFF Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan, who is on an official visit to Brotherly Country Sri Lanka, held One on One important meeting with Commander Sri Lankan Air Force (SLAF) Air Marshal Sudarshana Karagoda Pathirana during official visit to Sri Lanka, PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Media Wing Head DGPR PAF said in an official statement on the official Twitter Account.
According to the details released by the DGPR PAF, CAS Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan arrives in the Headquarter of Sri Lankan Air Force to hold important meetings with Top Sri Lankan Military Officials. A smartly turned out contingent presented Guard of Honor to the Visiting Dignitary.
Later, CAS Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan held an important meeting with the Commander Sri Lankan Air Force (SLAF) Air Marshal Sudarshana Karagoda Pathirana. During the meeting, matters related to professional and mutual interest came under discussion.

On the occasion, CAS Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan said that it was a moment of Pride for the PAKISTAN AIR FORCE that Commander Sri Lankan Air Force Air Marshal Sudarshana Karagoda Pathirana was himself trained in PAKISTAN.
CAS Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan said that the Armed and Air Forces of both Brotherly Countries, PAKISTAN and Sri Lanka, have a strong bond of relationship spanning over decades.
“He further added that our armed forces in general and Air Forces in particular, have strong ties of friendship. Cdr SLAF thanked Air Chf Mshl Mujahid Anwar Khan for sincere offer of cooperation & agreed to explore new avenues to enhance bilateral professional cooperation,” DGPR PAF added.
During the occasion, Commander SLAF specially thanked the CAS Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan for his sincere cooperation offer and he also agreed to further enhance the existing Bilateral Defense Ties between the two Brotherly Countries.
Later, CHIEF OF AIR STAFF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan attended the 70th Anniversary Parade of Sri Lankan Air Force as the Guest of Honor at the Sri Lankan Air Force Base Katunayke.
On the occasion, the CAS Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan extended his felicitations to the Brotherly Sri Lankan Air Force on completing the 70 years of Glorious service.
“The Air Chief extended his felicitations to Sri Lankan Force on completing 70 years of glorious service to the nation. He also congratulated No 5 Fighter Squadron and No 6 Helicopter Squadron of the SLAF on award of President’s Colors,” DGPR PAF added in the statement.
PAKISTAN AIR CHIEF Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan also congratulated the Sri Lankan No 6 Helicopter Squadron and No 5 Fighter Squadron on winning the award of President’s Colors.

“President of Sri Lanka H.E Gotabaya Rajapaksa presented a copy of the book to Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan. The book relates to the evolution of Air Power in the context of SLAF in Indian Ocean Region and achievements of SLAF during the fight against terrorists,” DGPR PAF added in the statement.
