PAKISTAN CHINA Air Forces Start Joint Exercise Shaheen-VIII:
The Air Forces of PAKISTAN and its All-Weather Ally CHINA has started the Joint Exercise Shaheen-VIII. The Shaheen-VIII Joint Air Force Exercise is being conducted in North Western CHINA.

The Shaheen-VIII is the eight successive joint Air Force exercise between the Air Forces of PAKISTAN and CHINA since it was first launched in March 2011. The seventh Shaheen-VII Joint Air Force exercise was concluded at the Operation Air Force Base of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE in Karachi back to December 21, 2018.
The Shaheen-VIII was aimed at to maximize the combat readiness and efficiency of the both the Friendly Air Forces by providing a realistic combat training environment.
The Shaheen-VIII will also help to further enhance the cordial military ties between the two friendly air forces.
The Shaheen-VIII Joint Air Force Exercise also allow the interoperability mechanism of both the air forces. State of the Art Air Defense System, Combat Aircraft, AEWACS Surveillance Aircraft and Bombers of the both the Air Forces will take part in the eighth edition of the Shaheen-VIII Joint Air Force Exercise.
The Shaheen-VII was successfully concluded at PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Base Karachi last year. PAKISTAN’s Iron Brother CHINA participated in the exercise with state-of-the-art combat aircraft, Air Defense System, bombers and Early Airborne Warning and Control System Aircraft (AEWACS).
Reports of the reliable sources are suggested that the PAKISTAN Air Force has sent its indigenously developed state-of-the-art JF-17 Thunder Aircraft with Block-II and Block-III.
Notably, the JF-17 Thunder Block-III is an AESA radar equipped Aircraft loaded with cutting-edge technology and it can easily compete with the United States latest F-16 V Aircraft in performance, speed, combat efficiency and agility.
