CHAIRMAN JOINT CHIEFS OF STAFF COMMITTEE (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza attended the 11th Beijing Xiangshan Forum and delivered lecture regarding Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN’s Role for Eternal Peace and Stability during High-Profile and Most Important visit to PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA on Saturday, 14th September 2024, PAK MILITARY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said in an Official Statement.
During the visit, the CHAIRMAN JOINT CHIEFS OF STAFF COMMITTEE (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza held One on One High-Profile and Important meeting with Top CHINESE DEFENSE and SECURITY OFFICIALS, including CHAIRMAN OF CENTRAL MILITARY COMMISSION His Excellency General He Weidong and CHIEF OF CENTRAL MILITARY COMMISSION General Zui Zhenli.
According to the Details, CHAIRMAN JOINT CHIEFS OF STAFF COMMITTEE (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza attended the 11th Beijing Xiangshan Forum and delivered lecture regarding Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN’s Role for Eternal Peace and Stability during High-Profile and Most Important visit to PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA.
More than 1800 participants from 100-plus countries and international organizations attended the forum, including 34 representatives of ministers or military chiefs, as well as experts and scholars.
Under the theme of Promoting Peace for a Shared Future, they pooled wisdom and conducted in-depth exchanges and equal dialogues in 4 plenary sessions and 8 simultaneous special sessions, reaching broad consensus on jointly safeguarding peace and tranquility.
During the Meetings with the Top CHINESE DEFENSE, SECURITY and MILITARY Officials, Both sides praised the deep, historic relationship between both Iron Brothers, Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN and PAKISTAN Iron Brother and All Weather Strategic Ally CHINA, and discussed progress in their strategic cooperative partnership and defense cooperation, amongst other matters.
The forum further strengthened South-South cooperation and facilitated North-South cooperation. Other activities were also arranged during the forum, such as interviews, dialogues and visits to an exhibition on science and technology innovation.
Adeel Jamaluddin Khan, visiting professor of the National Defense University of Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN, noted that the Global Security Initiative is inclusive to the developing world. “For us in the Middle East and in South Asia, like I am from Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN, it is very relevant, it is important to us, whereas if you compare it with the rest of the security forums, they discuss the issues of the Western world alone.”
The theme of this year’s forum is Promoting Peace for a Shared Future. It will feature four plenary sessions and eight parallel group sessions, focusing on topics such as security cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region, multipolarity and the international order, the Global South and global security governance, according to the forum’s official website.
