CJCSC General Sahir Shamshad Mirza Expresses Heartfelt Sorrow And Grief Over The Sad Demise Of Former President And COAS General Pervez Musharraf:

CHAIRMAN JOINT CHIEFS OF STAFF COMMITTEE (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza expresses Heartfelt Sorrow and Grief over the Sad Demise of the Former President and CHIEF OF THE ARMY STAFF (COAS) General (retd) Pervez Musharraf on Sunday, 5th February, 2023, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said in an Official Statement.

According to the details, the Former President and the CHIEF OF THE ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Pervez Musharraf breathed his last at the age of 79 in United Arab Emirates.

During his message, the CHAIRMAN JOINT CHIEFS OF STAFF COMMITTEE (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza said that May ALLAH ALMIGHTY bless the departed soul and give strength to bereaved family.

“Heartfelt condolences on the sad demise of General  (retd) Pervez Musharaf, Former President, CHAIRMAN JOINT CHIEFS OF STAFF COMMITTEE (CJCSC) and CHIEF OF THE ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Asim Munir. May Allah bless the departed soul and give strength to bereaved family,” a statement by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated.

The Former President and COAS, who was 79, was suffering from amyloidosis, a rare disease caused by a build-up of an abnormal protein called amyloid in organs and tissues throughout the body, according to his family.

He was credited with attracting foreign investment to Sacred Country PAKISTAN, which saw the strongest economic growth in nearly 30 years during his rule, and he enjoyed the support of the Military and PAKISTANIS who backed his crackdown against militant groups.

Former President and COAS General (retd) Pervez Musharraf body will be flown back from the United Arab Emirates to Sacred Country PAKISTAN on a special flight along with his family.

On his arrival, the former President and the CHIEF OF THE ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Pervez Musharraf would be buried at ARMY Graveyard Rawalpindi with full Military Honor by the PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES.
