COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa And Uzbek Ambassador Agrees On Enhancing Bilateral Defense And Military Ties:
Ambassador of Uzbekistan to PAKISTAN His Excellency Mr. Aybek Arif Usmanov held One on One high-profile and important meeting with CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at the GHQ Rawalpindi on Thursday, February 24, 2022, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said.
According to the details, Uzbekistan Envoy to PAKISTAN His Excellency Mr. Aybek Arif Usmanov visits GHQ Rawalpindi and meets with COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
During the meeting, both the dignitaries discussed matters pertaining to ‘mutual and professional interest,’ with special emphasis on enhancing the Bilateral Defense and Security Ties between both the Countries.
On the occasion, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa categorically made it clear that PAKISTAN highly values its cordial relations with Uzbekistan in multi-domains, including Defense and Military Ties.
“PAKISTAN values its relations with Uzbekistan, particularly Defense cooperation,” DG ISPR Quoted COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
Both the dignitaries also discussed the ways to further enhance the existing Bilateral Defense and Security relationship between both the Friendly ISLAMIC Countries.
During the meeting, the visiting dignitary, Uzbekistan Ambassador to PAKISTAN H.E Mr. Aybek Arif Usmanov, highly appreciated the role of PAKISTAN in stabilizing the regional stability and pledged to play his due role for further strengthening the Bilateral Defense and Security relations between Armed, Naval and Air Forces of both the friendly countries.
“The visiting dignitary expressed his appreciation for PAKISTAN’s role in promoting regional stability and pledged to keep striving for better relations between the two countries,” DG ISPR added.
It is expected that the recent high-profile visit and meeting of Uzbekistan Ambassador to PAKISTAN Mr. Aybek Arif Usmanov with the COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa will further strengthen and augment the Bilateral Defense and Security relations between both the Brotherly ISLAMIC Countries, PAKISTAN and Uzbekistan.
