Deputy Defense Minister and Chief of General Staff of AZERBAIJAN ARMY Colonel General Karim Valiyev, who is on an Official visit to Sacred Country PAKISTAN, held One on One high-profile and important meeting with the PAK ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Asim Munir at GHQ Rawalpindi on Tuesday, 23rd May, 2023, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said in an Official Statement.
According to the details, the Deputy Defense Minister And CGS AZERBAIJAN ARMY Colonel General Karim Valiyev visits Generals Headquarter (GHQ) in Rawalpindi and held One on One high-profile and important meeting with the CHIEF OF THE ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Asim Munir.
During the meeting, the MILITARY COMMANDERS of both the Brotherly ISLAMIC countries, Sacred Country PAKISTAN and PAKISTAN Iron Brother AZERBAIJAN, discussed various matters pertaining to “Mutual and Professional Interest”, including the ways to further enhance the Bilateral Military relations between the Two countries.
Matters related to Defense and security cooperation between the two brotherly countries were discussed with emphasis on enhancing mutual cooperation in military and professional matters.
On the occasion, PAK ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Asim Munir said that Sacred Country PAKISTAN highly values its Brotherly Relations with PAKISTAN Iron Brother AZERBAIJAN, which further manifested in Religious, Cultural and Defense relationships between both the Brotherly ISLAMIC Countries.
AZERBAIJAN Defense Minister and Chief of General Staff (CGS) Colonel General K. Valiyev emphasized that the development and expansion of cooperation with Sacred Country PAKISTAN in the military field as in all fields are always in the spotlight of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Mr. Ilham Aliyev.
While expressing his gratitude for the invitation, Colonel General K. Valiyev noted that there are historically friendly relations between the two Brotherly ISLAMIC Countries, and these relations greatly contributed to the development of bilateral military cooperation along with other fields.
The visiting dignitary Deputy Defense Minister and Chief of General Staff of AZERBAIJAN ARMY Colonel General Karim Valiyev highly acknowledged the Unmatched and Distinct Sacrifices of the Brave and Valiant PAK ARMED FORCES in their ongoing fight against the indian and iranian state sponsored and state backed terrorism in Sacred Country PAKISTAN.
