PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF COAS General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa visited the forward positions along the Line of Control on Wednesday and has categorically made it clear that indian army shall always get the befitting response to cease fire violations, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Inter-Services Public Relations said in an official statement via official Twitter Handle.
According to the details released by the ISPR, the CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa was thoroughly briefed about the latest situation about the ceasefire violations by indian troops on the civilian population along the Line of Control. CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa briefed that the indian troops deliberately target innocent civilian population along the LOC.

CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa was also briefed about the effective response by PAKISTAN ARMY Troops. On the occasion, COAS General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa highly appreciated the high moral, professional expertise and operational preparedness of PAKISTAN ARMY Troops.

“Blatant atrocities by Indian Occupation Forces on innocent Kashmiris & unethical targeting of civil population in AJ&K is unacceptable. Indian provocations are a threat to regional peace and stability. Indian Army shall always get befitting response to CFVs,” said PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF General Bajwa.
PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa has categorically made it clear the deliberate and unethical targeting of civil population in AZAD Jammu & Kashmir by indian troops is unacceptable. COAS further said that the indian army’s ceasefire violation can cause real implications for the regional peace and security.
Demise of Former CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Mohammad Shariff:
On the occasion, the CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF also expressed deep sorrow and grief on the demise of FORMER CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) and CJCSC Admiral Mohammad Shariff.

#COAS expresses grief on the demise of Admiral Mohammad Shariff, former Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee. “May ALLAH ALMIGHTY bless the departed soul in eternal peace and give strength to the bereaved family, Aameen,” said COAS General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa.
Covid-19 Protocol:
Referring to the Covid-19 Pandemic in the country, COAS General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa appreciated the strict adherence to Covid-19 protocols. He also appreciated the proactive assistance PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES provided to the Govt of AZAD Jammu & Kashmir to fight the pandemic.
Corps Commander Rawalpindi Corps, Lieutenant General Azhar Abbas also presented on the occasions along with the other senior PAKISTAN ARMY Officers.
