PAK ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Asim Munir Vows That All Fake News And Propaganda Of Hostile And Inimical Forces Will Be Defeated With The Support Of The Brave And Great PAKISTANI NATION:
PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Asim Munir vows that all the fake news and Propaganda of the Hostile and Inimical Forces will be defeated with the Support of the Brave and Great PAKISTAN NATION on Saturday, 20th May, 2023, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said in an Official Statement.
According to the details, the CHIEF OF THE ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Asim Munir paid an Official visit to Lahore.
Upon arrival, the PAK ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Asim Munir laid Floral Wreath at the Martyr’s Monument and Paid Rich and Glorious Tribute to the Bravest Sons of Sacred Country PAKISTAN, who laid down their lives to protect the Honor and Dignity of their Sacred Homeland, Sacred Country PAKISTAN.
During the visit, COAS was given a briefing on the different events of 9th May (Black Day). COAS also visited JINNAH House and an ARMY installation which were blatantly attacked and vandalised by politically motivated rioters.
While addressing the Garrison officers and soldiers at Corps Headquarters, COAS General Asim Munir categorically made it clear that that the legal process of trial against planners, instigators, abettors and perpetrators involved in 9 May tragedy has commenced under PAKISTAN ARMY Act and Official Secret Act as per existing and established legal procedures derived from the Constitution of PAKISTAN.
COAS emphasised that “PAK ARMY draws its strength from people and any effort to create wedge between the ARMY and the people of Sacred Country PAKISTAN is an act against the State which is neither tolerable nor condonable under any circumstances.
Later, COAS also visited Services Hospital Lahore and inquired about the well-being of DIG Ali Nasir Rizvi who was injured by political miscreants during 9th May incident.
COAS also visited Qurban Lines and met with police officials. COAS General Asim Munir paid homage to Shuhada of Police, appreciated the professionalism and restraint exercised by them during the riots/vandalism and assured Army’s full support to the LEAs for their capacity enhancement, intelligence sharing and training.
“Hostile and inimical forces and their abettors have been trying hard to create confusion through fake news and propaganda, but all such designs of the enemy will be defeated with the support of the nation, InshAllah.” COAS General Asim Munir said.
Earlier on his arrival, the COAS General Asim Munir was Warmly, Greeted, Welcome and Received by the Corps Commander Lahore Lieutenant General Aamer Raza Hilal-i-Imtiaz (MILITARY).
