PAKISTAN Egypt first-ever Two weeks long Air Defense Exercise Sky Guard-1 Successfully concludes at Cairo, Egypt in a gracious and prestigious ceremony on Friday, June 4, 2021, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement.

According to the details released by the PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head, the first ever edition of the PAKISTAN Egypt Air Defense Exercise Sky Guard-1 Successfully concludes at Cairo, Egypt.
Commander of PAKISTAN ARMY Air Defense Command (AAD) Lieutenant General Hamood Uz Zaman Khan witnessed the concluding ceremony of the PAKISTAN Egypt 2-weeks long Air Defense Exercise Sky Guard-1 as the chief guest.
The Chief Guest of the concluding ceremony also witnessed the live firing demonstration of different potent and lethal Air Defense Weapons, including the Crotale Air Defense System of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Defense Command and Igla Man-portable Air Defense Missile System of PAKISTAN ARMY Air Defense Command.

“Commander PAKISTAN ARMY Air Defense Command (AAD) Lieutenant General Hamood Uz Zaman Khan lauded the professionalism of participating troops and emphasized the need to be abreast with emerging trends and techniques,” ISPR added.
PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Said that the Troops of PAKISTAN ARMY Air Defense Command, PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Air Defense Command and Egyptian Air Defense Command participated in the first-ever Sky Guard-1 Air Defense Exercise between PAKISTAN and Egypt of this kind.
“The two weeks long exercise was focused on the integration, synchronization, information gathering, interoperability and decision making of committing the air defense assets in a battle to offer an aggressive and prompt response to the hostile air threat,” PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing ISPR said.

On the occasion, PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Air Operations Director General Air Vice Marshal Abdul Moeed Khan, PAKISTAN Ambassador to Egypt Sajid Bilal, Brigadier Emad Hagi, an observer from Brotherly Country Bahrain, and large number Military and Air Force Officials from both the sides attended the prestigious and gracious ceremony.
It is pertinent to mention that the recent maiden Air Defense Exercise between the Air Defense Command of PAKISTAN ARMY, PAKISTAN AIR FORCE and the Egyptian Air Defense Command will significantly help to further boost and strengthen the Bilateral Military, Security and Defense relations between both the Brotherly Countries.
