Sacred Country PAKISTAN Hosts 2-weeks long Multinational SOF Joint Counter Terrorism Exercise Fajar Al Sharq-V at National Counter-Terrorism Centre in Pabbi with the Participation of Special Operations Forces (SOF) from 3 Friendly and Allied Countries of Sacred Country PAKISTAN on Monday, Nov 27 2023, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said in an Official Statement.

According to the details, the 2-week long Multinational Special Operations Forces (SOF) Joint Counter Terrorism Exercise Fajar Al Sharq kicks off at National Counter Terrorism Centre in Pabbi.

3 Friendly and Allied Countries of Sacred Country PAKISTAN, including Bahrain, Kuwait and Iraq, sent the contingent of their Special Operations Forces (SOF) to Sacred Country PAKISTAN to participate in the 2-weeks long Multinational SOF Joint Counter Terrorism Exercise Fajar Al Sharq-V at NCTC in Pabbi.

The 2-weeks long Multinational SOF Joint Counter Terrorism Exercise Fajar Al Sharq-V is aimed at nurturing joint employment and interoperability besides, harnessing the historic military-to-military relations among the participating brotherly countries.

The member countries have displayed zeal and enthusiasm for benefiting from each other’s expertise during the commencement of the 2-weeks long Multinational SOF Joint Counter Terrorism Exercise Fajar Al Sharq-V at NCTC in Pabbi.

In October, the PAKISTANI and Malaysian armed forces held joint military exercises in two stages from October 9 to 22 in Malaysia.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Bilateral Army Exercise Series was held between Sacred Country PAKISTAN and Malaysian Armed Forces. The exercise commenced on October 9 and culminated on October 22 in Malaysia.

The exercise was based on two stages, namely Cross Training Exercise and Field Training Exercise.

The exercise has greatly benefited both the Malaysian and PAKISTAN ARMY to strengthen bilateral relations and establish friendly relations amongst officers and members of both countries by exchanging ideas, knowledge and skills, it concluded.

The recent commencement of the 2-weeks long Multinational SOF Joint Counter Terrorism Exercise Fajar Al Sharq-V will help to further enhance interoperability and military to military relations between the Special Operations Forces of all the Participating countries.

The Special Operations Forces of all the Participating Friendly and Allied Countries of Sacred Country PAKISTAN will also benefit from the real battle experience of each other during the 2 week long Multinational SOF Joint Counter Terrorism Exercise Fajar Al Sharq-V Exercise.
