PAKISTAN has lost another son of Soil as the Patriotic PAKISTANI IKRAM UL HAQ seeking JINNAH’s TRUE PAKISTAN is no more with us. The 90-Year Patriotic IKRAM UL HAQ has stood for all long 6 years on Lahore Liberty’s Chowk holding the banner “HUMEIN JINNAH KA PAKISTANI CHAHIYE”. This great son of soil breathed his last on Friday, Aug 23, 2019.
IKRAM UL HAQ was famously known as “The Old Jinnah Man’ adamantly stood as the Lahore’s Liberty Roundabout for all six years by holding the banner “HUMEIN JINNAH KA PAKISTANI CHAHIYE”(We Want JINNAH’s PAKISTAN).
The Funeral prayer of this great Son of Soil IKRAM UL HAQ was offered on the Sunday evening at Model Town Lahore. The Patriotic IKRAM UL HAQ left behind three sons and a wife.
The Brave Son of Soil IKRAM UL HAQ has started his journey by standing at the Liberty Roundabout daily since 2013 and onwards. Notably, this was the era when PAKISTAN was shackled with foreign funded Terrorism and extremism in the country.
The brave Son of Soil IKRAM UL HAQ has a strong believe JINNAH’s vision of PAKISTAN was about the Basic rights of the Muslims in india, who were a minority in india and the JINNAH’s Vision about PAKISTAN was not about any theocratic state.
The Brave Son of Soil IKRAM UL HAQ has associated himself at a very young age with the PAKISTAN MOVEMENT as a student.
However, he put his educated on hold to join the Muslims Students Federation and PAKISTAN movement from 1944-1948. Brave Son of Soil IKRAM UL HAQ also remained a member of the Muslim Student Federation in Dayal Singh College.
IKRAM UL HAQ with his fellows and friends from Islamia College, FC College and Dayal Singh College join their hands to help the poor and needy people of the country.
IKRAM UL HAQ was deeply concerned that how the country has changed its due course soon after its creation. One of the chief reasons he holds responsible for the situation in the country was Landowners, Nawabi and Mafia Culture. He is also sometimes accompanied by other workers of PAKISTAN Movement.
IKRAM UL HAQ was of the view that people have forgotten the true mandate of JINNAH’s PAKISTAN and they need to realize that if they want to make PAKISTAN prosperous, then they have to change the course of PAKISTAN according to Founding Father JINNAH’s Desire and Vision.
Mr. IKRAM UL HAQ was retired from the executive post of Managing Director PAKISTAN State Oil (PSO) in 1988.
