CNS Admiral Abbasi Pays Farewell Visit To COAS General Bajwa At GHQ Islamabad:
CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi paid a farewell visit to the PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ Islamabad on Wednesday, September 30, 2020.
During the meeting, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa specially thanked the valuable and meritorious services of CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi to his Nation and his Sacred Country PAKISTAN.

CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa lauded the illustrious and long career in the Service.
“Admiral Mahmood Abbasi, CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS), while on his farewell visit, called on the General Qamar Javed Bajwa CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) at GHQ, today. COAS thanked CNS for his services to Nation during a long and illustrious career,” ISPR said in an official statement on twitter.
Earlier, upon arrival at the GHQ, the outgoing CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi was presented the Guard of Honor by Smart Contingent at the Yadgar-e-Shuhada.

It is pertinent to mention that the CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi is due to retire on October 6, 2020. Vice Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi has been appointed as the seventeenth CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) of PAKISTAN NAVY.
The incoming CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi will assume his duty on October 7, 2020.
