Former PAK NAVAL CHIEF (CNS) Admiral Yastur Ul Malik laid to Rest with Complete MILITARY HONORS in Lahore on Wednesday, 4th December 2024, PAK NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY said in an Official Statement.

Former PAK NAVAL CHIEF Admiral Yastur-ul-Haq Malik, was laid to rest in Lahore. A large number of retired and serving armed services officials, as well as civilians, attended the late Admiral’s funeral prayers. PAK NAVAL CHIEF Admiral Naveed Ashraf, expressed his condolences to the deceased’s family and prayed for the departed soul.

According to the Details, Former PAK NAVAL CHIEF (CNS) Admiral Yastur Ul Malik laid to Rest with Complete MILITARY HONORS in Lahore on Wednesday, 4th December 2024, PAK NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY said in an Official Statement.

Brief Glance at the Distinguished Career of Former PAK NAVAL CHIEF (CNS) Yastur Ul Malik:

Admiral Yastur-ul-Haq Malik had a distinguished naval career spanning over four decades. He had the honor of participating in the 1965 and 1971 Pakistan-India wars. He served as the Chief of the Naval Staff from 1988 to 1991.

Former PAK NAVAL CHIEF (CNS) Admiral Yastur Ul Malik joined the PAKISTAN NAVY back in September 1951 and completed his initial training at Britannia Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, UK.

He was a graduate of the PAF Staff College and the National Defense University. Admiral Yastur-ul-Haq Malik held an illustrious record in command and staff assignments, both afloat and ashore.

Notably, Former PAK NAVAL CHIEF (CNS) Admiral Yastur Ul Malik commanded PAK NAVY Fleet and served as Vice Chief of the Naval Staff. Additionally, he served as Chairman of the PAKISTAN National Shipping Corporation (NSC).

In recognition of his Outstanding Performance and Meritorious Services towards his Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN, the Former PAK NAVAL CHIEF (CNS) Admiral Yastur Ul Malik was awarded with the Coveted Nishan-e-Imtiaz (Military) and Sitara-e-Basalat.

The Floral Wreaths, on behalf of CHAIRMAN JOINT CHIEFS OF STAFF COMMITTEE (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, PAK NAVAL CHIEF (CNS) Admiral Naveed Ashraf, PAK AIR FORCE CHIEF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar and PAK ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Asim Munir, Senior naval officers, and notable civilians, were laid on the Admiral’s Grace.
