COAS Chaired Important 230th Corps Commanders Conference At GHQ Islamabad:

CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa chaired the most important 230th Corps Commanders Conference (CCC) held at General Headquarters (GHQ) on Thursday, 12th March, 2020, PAK ARMY Media Wing Head Director General Inter-Services Public Relations DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement via the official Twitter Account.

According to the details issued by DG ISPR, COAS General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa reviewed the recent LOC Situation, Ongoing Afghan Peace Process and the Top Military Brass of the Sacred Country PAKISTAN also discussed the Coronavirus Preventive Measures.

“Operational preparedness, the situation along the Line of Control (LoC), geo-strategic environment and the national and regional security with particular emphasis on Afghanistan peace process came under discussion,” PAK ARMY Media Wing ISPR Said in a statement.

The Top Military Brass of the Country also reviewed and discussed all the possible preventive measures for the COVID-19 Pandemic in the country at the Military Level.

According to the details, the COAS General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa directed all the concerned authorities to Fully hear up the Preparations to counter the COVID-19 Pandemic in the Country.

“Forum also discussed the emerging situation with regards to COVID-19 and preventive measures taken at Army level. COAS directed all concerned to gear up preparations in support of a National effort to counter this pandemic in case of any eventuality,” DG ISPR Further added.

Discussing the ongoing Peace process in Afghanistan, the CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF stated that the Path to the Eternal Regional Peace, Stability and Prosperity through Afghanistan and Patience and Collaborative Approach can overcome all the Challenges and PAKISTAN is fully ready and prepared to play its due role in the process.
