Major General Babar Iftikhar Will Follow The Legacy Of Maj General Asif Ghafoor As New DG ISPR:
In a Major level reshuffle in PAKISTAN ARMY, Major General Babar Ifitkhar will follow the Legacy of Major General Asif Ghafoor as the new Director General of PAKISTAN ARMY’s Media Wing Inter-Services Public relations, DG ISPR said in an official statement via twitter.
Major General Babar Iftikhar has been appointed as the new of DG ISPR and will replace the existing and incumbent DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor as the new Head of PAKISTAN MILITARY’s media wing DG ISPR.
The existing DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor has now been appointed as the General Officer Commanding (GOC) Okara.

Who is New DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar?
According to the detail released by the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR), the new Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Major General Babar Iftikhar was commissioned in the PAKISTAN ARMY in 1990 in 6 Lancers.
Major General Babar Iftikhar is a graduate of the Command and Staff College Quetta, Royal Command and Staff College Jordan and he also attended the National Defense University Islamabad.
The New DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar has a significant experience in holding the Key Position in a wide range of Instructional, Staff and Command roles in PAKISTAN ARMY.
Major General Babar Iftikhar has also commanded an Infantry and Armored Brigade in North Waziristan during the Operation Zarb E Azab launched by PAKISTAN ARMY to get rid of indian sponsored terrorism and terrorist in the Sacred Country PAKISTAN.
Major General Babar Iftikhar also services as the Brigadier Staff in an Infantry Division in North Waziristan and a Brigade Major in an Armored Brigade in North Waziristan.
Furthermore, the newly appointed Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) also served as the faculty Member of National Defense University (NDU) Islamabad and PAKISTAN MILITARY Academy (PMA) Kakul, Abbottabad.
