Newly-Appointed British HC Calls On COAS General Bajwa At GHQ:
The newly-appointed British High Commissioner to PAKISTAN, Dr. Christian Turner Called on PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa at the Generals Headquarter (GHQ) at Rawalpindi on Wednesday, PAKISTAN ARMY MEDIA Wing Inter-Services Public Relations said in a statement.
According to the ISPR, the PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa warmly welcomed the newly Appointed British High Commissioner to PAKISTAN Dr. Christian Turner and wished him best of luck for the assignment.
During the meeting, COAS and newly British High Commissioner to PAKISTAN Dr. Christian Turner emphasize on further enhancing the bilateral relations between the two countries.

During the meeting, the matters related to mutual interest and regional security issues were discussed. The Newly-appointed British High Commissioner Dr. Christian Turner will replace the Former British High Commissioner to PAKISTAN Thomas Drew earlier in August, 2019.
The outgoing British High Commissioner Thomas Drew specially thanked the people of Great PAKISTAN for their unmatched hospitality. The Former British High Commissioner Thomas Drew bids farewell after spending four ‘Wonderful and Memorable Years’ in PAKISTAN.
