Potential JF-17 Thunder Deal on cards as Chief of Joint Staff Argentina Armed Forces Teniente General Juan Martin Paleo held One on One High-Profile and important meeting with PAK AIR CHIEF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar at AIR HQ Islamabad on Tuesday, June 14th, 2022, PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Media Wing Head DGPR AIR FORCE Air Vice Marshal Tariq Zia said in an Official statement. 

According to the details released by the PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Media Wing Head, the Chief of Joint Staff Argentina Armed Forces Teniente General Juan Martin Paleo paid an important visit to the PAF AIR HQ Islamabad and held a high-profile meeting with the PAK AIR CHIEF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar.

Later, the visiting dignitary meets with PAKISTAN AIR FORCE CHIEF Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar in his office.

During the meeting, both the dignitaries discussed various matters pertaining to “Professional and Mutual Interest”, including the possible acquisition of undisclosed numbers of JF-17 Thunder Fighter Jets from Sacred Country PAKISTAN.

The Chief of Joint Staff Argentina Armed Forces Teniente General Juan Martin Paleo highly appreciated the professionalism of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Personnel and acknowledged the distinctive achievements made by the PAKISTAN AIR FORCE over the years, especially through the policy of indigenization.

On the occasion, the CHIEF OF AIR STAFF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar highlighted that both Friendly Countries, PAKISTAN and Argentina, enjoyed cordial relations in different spheres and domains, including Security and Defense.

The Chief of Joint Staff Argentina Armed Forces Teniente General Juan Martin Paleo highly lauds the PAKISTAN’s Pride JF-17 Thunder Block-3 Fighter Jet as the formidable 4.5++ Generation Semi-Stealth Fighter Jet capable of undertaking air to air and air to ground attacks with pinpoint accuracy and precision.

PAK AIR CHIEF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar reiterated the firm resolve to further augment and strengthen the bilateral cooperation and collaboration between the Air Forces of the two Friendly countries, PAKISTAN and Argentina.

Both the dignitaries also discussed the “Various other Matters of Mutual and Professional Interest” during the high-profile and important meeting held at PAF AIR HQ Islamabad.

It is expected that the recent high-profile meeting of the Chief of Joint Staff Argentina Armed Forces Teniente General Juan Martin Paleo with PAK AIR CHIEF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar will help to take the Bilateral Defense and Security relations of PAKISTAN and Argentina to all new heights of glory.
