PAK NAVY Appoints 3 Commodores Of PAK NAVY To The Rank Of Rear Admiral With Immediate Effect:
PAK NAVY, the Custodians of the Sacred Maritime Frontiers of the Sacred Country PAKISTAN, has appointed the 3 Commodores of PAK NAVY to the Rank of Rear Admiral with immediate Effect on Friday, December 15 2023, PAK NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY said in an Official Statement.
According to the details, major promotions held in PAKISTAN NAVY as the Three Commodores has been appointed as the Rear Admiral with immediate Effect.
PAK NAVY has appointed Commodore Azhar Mahmood, Commodore Shahzad Hamid and Commodore Mazhar Mahmood Malik as Rear Admirals of PAK NAVY with immediate effect.

Rear Admiral Azhar Mahmood Sitara-i-Imtiaz MILITARY):
The newly promoted Rear Admiral Azhar Mahmood was commissioned in Operations Branch of PAK NAVY in back in 1993.
The Flag Officer is a graduate of different National and International Prestigious Institutes including, PAKISTAN NAVY War College (PNWC) Lahore, Defense Services Command and Staff College Bangladesh and National Defense University (NDU), Islamabad.
The newly promoted Rear Admiral Azhar Mahmood has an illustrious Naval career covering vast experience of various Major Level Command and Staff appointments.
His Major command appointments include Commands of PMSS BARKAT, PMSS KASHMIR, PNS TARIQ, Commander 9th Auxiliary and Mine Warfare Squadron and Commander 25th Destroyer Squadron, amongst others.
Moreover, the newly appointed also served as Chief of Staff to Commander Combined Task Force-150 at HQ NAVCENT Bahrain, Director Studies at National Defense University Islamabad and Director Foreign Military Collaboration at NHQ.
Rear Admiral Azhar Mahmood has been appointed as Commandant PAKISTAN NAVY War College (PNWC) at Lahore in his new rank.
In recognition of his Unmatched and Distinctive services for his Sacred Country PAKISTAN, The newly promoted Rear Admiral Azhar Mahmood conferred with the Prestigious and Coveted Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military).

Rear Admiral Shahzad Hamid (Sitara-i-Imtiaz MILITARY):
The newly promoted Rear Admiral Shahzad Hamid was commissioned in Operations Branch of PAKISTAN NAVY back in 1993.
He is a Naval Aircraft Pilot by profession. The Flag Officer is a graduate of PAKISTAN NAVY War College Lahore and National Defense University Islamabad.
The Admiral has a vast experience of Command and Staff appointments, which include Command of P-3C aircraft Squadron and Commander Naval Aviation.
He also served as Chief Staff Officer to Commander North as well as Naval Attaché of Sacred Country PAKISTAN in United States.
Rear Admiral Shahzad Hamid is appointed as Director General Naval Intelligence DG NI in his new rank.
In recognition of his Services to the Sacred Country PAKISTAN, the newly promoted Rear Admiral Shahzad Hamid is conferred with the Coveted and Prestigious Sitara-i-Imtiaz (MILITARY) and Tamgha-i- Basalat.

The newly promoted Rear Admiral Mazhar Mahmood Malik was commissioned in Marine Engineering Branch of PAKISTAN NAVY back in 1992.
The Flag Officer is a graduate of Pakistan Navy War College Lahore, National Defense University Islamabad and qualified Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering from National University of Science and Technology (NUST).
During his illustrious naval career, the Admiral has served on various key appointments.
His prominent appointments include Fleet Marine Engineering Officer at Fleet Headquarters, Deputy MD PAKISTAN NAVY Dockyard and Chief Staff Officer to Commander Logistics.
Rear Admiral Mazhar Mahmood is appointed as Managing Director PAKISTAN NAVY Dockyard, Karachi in his new role.
