PAK NAVAL CHIEF (CNS) Admiral Naveed Ashraf graced the Occasion as the Chief Guest. Chief of the Defence Staff of Romania General Gheorghita Vlad and Chief of Romanian Navy Vice Admiral Mihai Panait also attended as guests of Honor.

While addressing the ceremony, PAK NAVAL CHIEF (CNS) Admiral Naveed Ashraf emphasized on the significance of the project and highlighted the additional set of capabilities added to PN sphere of operations with the induction of PAK NAVY Third Heavily Armed Air Defense Destroyer and Stealth Warship PNS HUNAIN (F-273).

The ship is also capable of embarking multirole helicopter and has the ability to operate independently as well as part of a Task Force for enhanced duration to undertake number of missions while safeguarding the Maritime interests of Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN.

He expressed his confidence that induction of these multipurpose and highly adaptive platforms; equipped with state-of-the-art weapons/ sensors suite, will further enhance PAK NAVY forward presence and perpetual operational readiness vis-à-vis deployment on Regional Maritime Security Patrols (RMSP) in the indian Ocean Region (iOR).

DAMEN Shipyard Romania launches the Highly Capable, Hi-Tech and Heavily Armed Batch-II Block YARMOOK-Class Air Defense Destroyer and Guided Missile Stealth Warship PNS HUNAIN (F-273) for Sea Trials back in September 2023.

The Newly Constructed Batch-II YARMOOK-Class Stealth Warships of PAK NAVY are much larger and more capable than the previous Batch of YARMOOK-Class Stealth Warships and hold much more firepower than their previous generations.

With a displacement of 2,600 tons, the Batch-II YARMOK-Class Air Defense Destoyer is larger than the preceding two ships and more capable in its anti-ship warfare (AShW) and anti-air warfare (AAW) potential.

PAK NAVY Third Heavily Armed Air Defense Destroyer and Stealth Warship PNS HUNAIN (F-273) is a multipurpose and highly agile platform of medium size tonnage.

PAKISTAN NAVY to configure PNS HUNAIN (F-273) Batch-II Block YARMOOK-Class Air Defense Destroyer and Guided Missile Stealth Warship with State of the Art and Lethal Surface, Anti-Surface and Sub-Surface Weaponry, including Subsonic Anti-Ship Cruise Missiles for Anti-Surface Warfare and Land-Attack Missions and 12 cells for CAMM-ER medium-range Air Defense missiles with a range of 40+ km. CAMM-ER will also be used on ASFAT’s PN-MİLGEM.

As far as the Firepower is concerned; PAK NAVY Third Heavily Armed Air Defense Destroyer and Stealth Warship PNS HUNAIN (F-273) is a state of the art electronic warfare, anti-ship & anti-air warfare capable platform with modern self-protection and terminal Defense systems, amongst Highly Sophisticated Sensors and Lethal Weaponry.

PAKISTAN NAVY to configure PNS HUNAIN (F-273) Batch-II Block YARMOOK-Class Air Defense Destroyer and Guided Missile Stealth Warship would also be armed with various weapon systems from multiple countries. The guns consist of a Leonardo Marlin 40 gun, two ASELSAN STAMP 12.7 mm RCWS, and one ASELSAN GÖKDENİZ 35 mm CIWS.

The Pakistan Navy formally commissioned PNS Hunain (273) (one of a series of Offshore Patrol Vessels (OPV) 2600 that Damen is constructing for the Pakistan Navy).

The induction of such highly capable Air Defense Destroyers and Guided Missile Stealth Warship in the PAK NAVY Combatant Fleet will Significantly Boosts the Offensive Capability of PAKISTAN NAVY in carrying out Decisive Punitive Strikes against the coward indian navy and Strategic indian port cities of World’s Number 1 Shameless Terrorist Country india in the Next Upcoming Potential Conflict.
