PAKISTAN NAVY And Royal Oman Navy Conducts Bilateral Naval Exercise THAMAR AL TAYYIB-2021 In The North Arabian Sea:
PAKISTAN NAVY and Royal Oman Navy conducted the Bilateral Naval Exercise THAMAR AL TAYYIB-21 or TAT-21 in the North Arabian Sea on Sunday, December 19, 2021, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Naeem Sarwar said in an official statement.

According to the details, PAKISTAN NAVY Warships and Royal Oman Navy Warship participated in the Bilateral Naval Exercise THAMAR AL TAYYIB 2021 (TAT-21) in the North Arabian Sea.
The Surface and Air Units of both the Naval Forces participated in the THAMAR AL TAYYIB-2021 Naval Exercise.
The Royal Oman Navy Task Group consist of the RNO Warships AL SEEB and AL DHAGGERAJ, whereas the Maritime Patrol Aircraft of the Royal Air Force of Oman also participated in the exercise.
During the Harbor Phase of the Exercise, Tactical and Operational level discussion and Conferences were conducted. The Commanding Officers of the visiting Royal Oman Navy called on the Commander PAKISTAN Fleet (COMPAK) and Commander Fleet.
During the interactions, the dignitaries discussed various matters pertaining to the professional and mutual interest and ways to further enhance the Bilateral ties in all domains.
The Commanding Officers of the visiting Royal Oman Navy Warships also extended the whole-hearted and gracious support provided by the PAKISTAN NAVY for their stay and to conduct the THAMAR AL TAYYIB-2021 Naval Drills.
The Sea Phase of the THAMAR AL TAYYIB-2021 will include the Anti-Air, Anti-Surface Warfare Operations and the Counter Terrorism Operations.
“Sea phase of the exercise comprised counter terrorism, Anti-Air and Anti-Surface Warfare Operations with an overall aim to curb illicit activities at sea,” DGPR NAVY added.
On the occasion, the CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi also visited the Royal Oman Navy Warships and interacted with the men and officers onboard.
The recent edition of Bilateral Naval Drills THAMAR AL TAYYIB-2021 will provide an opportunity to enhance the interoperability and to hone their professional skills.
The Naval Forces of both the Brotherly ISLAMIC Countries are regularly conducting the exercise since 1990. The last edition of the Bilateral Naval Drills conducted in the Omani Waters back in 2019.
The regular conduct of Bilateral Naval Drills between PAKISTAN NAVY and Royal Oman Navy will significantly help to augment the Bilateral Defense and Security relations between both the Brotherly ISLAMIC countries.
