PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS ZULFIQAR Visits Jordanian Port Of Aqaba As Part Of Oversea Deployment To Mediterranean / Red Sea:
PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS ZULFIQAR, embarked with ASW Helicopter, visited the Aqaba Port in Jordan as part of PAKISTAN NAVY Overseas Deployment to Mediterranean / Red Sea on Friday, June 25, 2021, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Naeem Sarwar said in an official statement.
According to the details released by the PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY, PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS ZULFIQAR, (loaded with Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Helicopter) visit Aqaba Port in Jordan.
Upon Arrival at Aqaba Port in Jordan, the PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS ZULFIQAR was warmly welcomed, greeted and received by the Head of Royal Jordanian Naval Force (RJNF) Operations & Training Division, Defense Attaché of PAKISTAN in Jordan and other Senior Royal Jordan Naval Force Officers.
During the stay at Jordanian Port of Aqaba, the Mission Commander Commodore Syed Rizwan Khalid and Commanding Officer of PAKISTAN NAVY visiting Warship PNS ZULFIQAR Captain Rao Ahmed Imran Anwar held important meetings with Governor Aqaba Mr Mohammed Al Rafalah, Commissioner Jordan Maritime Commission Mr Mohammed Al Salman, Director Aqaba Development Cooperation Mr Bashar Abu Rummani and Commissioner Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority Mr Nayef Al Bakeet.
During the interactions, both the dignitaries discuss matters pertaining to the regional security situation, mutual interest and precious contributions of PAKISTAN NAVY to maintain eternal regional peace and maritime security.
On the occasion, the Mission Commander Commodore Syed Rizwan Khalid extended well wishes from CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi for the people of Jordan in General and Royal Jordan Naval Force (RJNF) in particular.
During the stay at Aqaba Port in Jordan, the Commander Royal Jordanian Naval Force Colonel Hisham Al Jarrah, Top Senior Jordanian Government officials, Diplomats and Royal Jordanian Naval Force Officers visited PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS ZULFIQAR.
Mission Cdr conveyed well wishes from CNS Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi for people of Jordan. A contingent of PN participated in centennial celebrations of Kingdom of Jordan. #PakNavy Ship also conducted Passage exercise with RJNF.(2/2)

A smartly turned out contingent of PAKISTAN NAVY participated in the centennial celebration of the Kingdom of Jordan at Naval Base Aqaba.
Upon departure from Aqaba Port in Jordan, PAKISTAN NAVY Warship conducted Passage Exercise (PASSEX) with Royal Jordan Naval Force.
It is expected that the recent visit of the PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS ZULFIQAR to Jordan will significantly help to augment and strengthen the Brotherly relations between PAKISTAN and Jordan in the sphere of Defense and Security Cooperation.
