PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS ZULFIQUAR Visits Port of Algiers In Algeria As Part Of Overseas Deployment In Mediterranean Sea:

PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS ZULFIQUAR visited the Port of Algiers in Algeria as part of Overseas Deployment in Mediterranean Sea on Sunday, August 15, 2021, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Naeem Sarwar said in an official statement.

According to the details released by the PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY, PAKISTAN NAVY Stealth Warship PNS ZULFIQUAR visited the Port of Algiers.

On arrival at the Port of Algiers, the PAKISTAN NAVY Stealth Warship PNS ZULFIQUAR was warmly greeted, welcomed and received by the Algerian Navy Ship and it is welcomed by the PAKISTANI Head of Chancery at Algiers Mr. Munawar Hussain and senior officials from Algerian Navy.

“PAKNAVY Ship visited Algiers (Algeria) as part of OSD. Upon arrival at port, ship was warmly welcomed by host officials. Mission Cdr along with CO called on Cdr Central Maritime Region Algerian Navy. During the interaction, matters of mutual interest were discussed,” DGPR NAVY said.

During the stay at the Port of Algiers, the Mission Commander of PAKISTAN Commodore Syed Rizwan Khalid meets with the Commander Central Maritime Region of Algerian Navy Commodore Gaid Nour Eddine.

During the meeting, all the dignitaries discussed different matters pertaining the to recent regional security situation. The dignitaries also acknowledged the precious contributions of PAKISTAN NAVY to promote regional security, stability and harmony in the region.

The Mission Commander also conveyed the Well Wishes from PAKISTAN NAVAL CHIEF, CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi for the People of Algeria in general and Algerian Navy in particular.

The Ambassador of PAKISTAN to Algeria His Excellency Mr. Ata ul Munim Shahid also visited the PNS ZULFIQUAR, where he interacted with the Mission Commander and Commanding Officer of PAKISTAN NAVY visiting ship PNS ZULFIQUAR.

Upon departure from Algerian Port, the PNS ZULFIQUAR conducted the Naval Exercise with Algerian Navy Ship.

Earlier, the PAKISTAN NAVY visiting Warship also participated in the Bilateral Naval Exercise with Royal Moroccan Navy Ship SULTAN MOULAY ISMAEL in the Strait of Gibraltar.

The Bilateral Naval Exercise included the Maritime Interdiction Operation (MIO), Advanced Maritime Maneuvers and Boarding and Force protection Drills. The exercise aimed to enhance the bilateral Military Cooperation through NAVAL Engagement and to further increase the interoperability between the two friendly navies.

The recent visit of PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS ZULFIQUAR and conduct of Bilateral Naval Drills with Moroccan and Algerian Navies will significantly help to further strengthen the bilateral diplomatic and military relation among the friendly countries, PAKISTAN, Morocco and Algiers.
