PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS ZULFIQUAR Visits Tunis As Part Of PAKISTAN NAVY Overseas Deployment:
PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS ZULFIQUAR, which is embarked with state of the art ASW Helicopter, visited Tunis (Tunisia) as part of PAKISTAN NAVY Overseas Deployment (OSD) on Monday, July 5, 2021, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Naeem Sarwar said in an official statement.

According to the details released by the PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY, PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS ZULFIQUAR visits Tunisia.
Upon arrival at the Tunisian Port, PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS ZULFIQUAR was warmly greeted, welcomed and received by the Tunisian Navy Ship and Patrol boats of Tunisian Coast Guard. Senior Officials of Tunisian Navy and Defense Attaché of PAKISTAN were also present on the occasion.
“PAKNAVY Ship ZULFIQUAR visited Tunis (Tunisia), as part of OSD. Upon arrival, ship was welcomed by host officials. During stay at port, Mission Cdr along with CO called on Commander National Coast guard. During the interaction, matters of mutual interest were discussed,” DGPR NAVY said.
During the stay at Tunisian Port, the Mission Commander of PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS ZULFIQUAR Commodore Syed Rizwan Khalid along with the Commanding Officer of PNS ZULFIQUAR Captain Rao Ahmed Imran Anwar called on Commander National Coast Guard Commander Jamal Aloui.

During the meeting, both the dignitaries discuss matters of mutual interest and recent regional security situation. Both the dignitaries also discussed the ways to further enhance the Bilateral Security and Defense relations between the NAVAL, AIR and AIR FORCES of the both the Brotherly Countries.
“Mission Commander also conveyed well wishes from CNS Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi for the people of Tunisia. The host dignitary also acknowledged the contribution of PAKISTAN NAVY for regional peace and maritime security,” DGPR NAVY added.
Tunisian Naval Commander highly lauded and appreciated the contributions of PAKISTAN NAVY in maintaining maritime security and regional peace.
Mission Commander also conveyed well wishes from CNS Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi for the people of Tunisia. The host dignitary also acknowledged the contribution of Pakistan Navy for regional peace and maritime security. (2/2)

On the occasion, the Mission Commander of PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS ZULFIQUAR Commodore Syed Rizwan Khalid conveyed well wishes from the CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi for the people of Tunisia in general and Tunisian Navy and Coast Guard in particular.
It is expected that the recent high-profile visit of PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS ZULFIQUAR will significantly help to augment the Bilateral Security and Defense Ties between the Two Brotherly ISLAMIC and MUSLIM Countries.
