Four people were killed and 14 others wounded in an attack at the TURKISH Aerospace Industries (TAI)’ headquarters on Wednesday, the government said, and witnesses said they heard gunfire and a loud explosion at the site near Ankara.

TURKISH private NTV television said a group of assailants, carrying assault weapons, arrived at an entry to the complex inside a taxi.
They detonated an explosive device next to the taxi before entering the complex.
“Two terrorists were neutralized in the terror attack on the TUSAS Ankara Kahramankazan site,” TURKISH Interior Minister His Excellency Ali Yerlikaya added in the statement.
Several officials worldwide condemned the attack later on Wednesday.
Russian President Vladimir Putin, speaking at a BRICS summit in Kazan, expressed his condolences, saying, “Moscow condemns any manifestations of terrorism.”
The President of the TURKISH Republic of Northern Cyprus His Excellency Mr. Ersin Tatar, also condemned the attack, extending his condolences.
