Government To File Reference Against Mentally Unfit And Incompetent justice waqar ahmed seth:

In a big development, the federal Government of PAKISTAN has decided to file a reference against waqar ahmed seth for his biased, controversial and suspicious verdict against the Former PAK ARMY CHIEF and President of PAKISTAN General (retd) Pevaiz Musharraf.

The federal Government will file a reference against Mentally Unfit and Incompetent justice waqar ahmed seth in under Article 209 of the Constitution of PAKISTAN in the Supreme Judicial Council, the federal Law Minister said in a press conference on Thursday, 20th December, 2019.

Referring to the Para 66 of the biased and controversial verdict against former PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF, the federal law minister said, “waqar ahmed seth was “mentally unfit and incompetent” and he must be restrained from performing any administrative or judicial duties.”

“This is an attempt to take PAKISTAN to the dark and stone ages; we will approach the Supreme Judicial Council with a plea that such a judge has no right to be a judge.” Federal Law Minister further added in his statement.

During the press conference, the Federal Law Minister said he didn’t understand the moral values, logic and under which authority the Mentally Unfit and Incompetent justice waqar ahmed seth gave save biased and controversial observation.

During the Press Conference, Barrister Shahzad Akbar, who is also the Special Assistant to Prime Minister of PAKISTAN on Accountability, informed the reporters that the Government would also file an appeal against this biased, controversial and suspicious judgment given by the Mentally Unfit and Incompetent justice waqar ahmed seth.

Barrister Shahzad Akbar further said that the Former PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF and President of PAKISTAN wasn’t given the opportunity of an unbiased, free and fair trial.

“It’s a suicide attack on his own institution and the other institutions, the federal government had an objection to the conduct of the trial,” Barrister further said in his statement.

The Prime Minister of PAKISTAN also termed the decision ‘a deliberate attempt to create unrest and anarchy in the country’.

“The Government will not allow any situation, which creates instability in the country or a clash between institutions, to arise,” said Prime Minister of PAKISTAN while addressing to media personnel on Thursday.

The PM further said that the Government has decided to file a reference against Mentally Unfit and Incompetent justice waqar ahmed seth. The legal team termed the biased, suspicious and controversial verdict given by Mentally Unfit and Incompetent justice waqar ahmed seth as ‘inhumane’, ‘illegal’ and ‘unconstitutional’.
