TURKISH Defense Giant METEKSAN Displays Advanced And Hi-Tech NAZAR Electro-Optic (EO) and Infrared (IR) Guided Missiles At IDEF 2021:
TURKISH Defense Giant METEKSAN Defense or Meteksan Savunma Resmi all set to showcase TURKEY’s Next Generation, Advanced and Hi-Tech NAZAR Electro-Optic (EO) and Infrared (IR) Guided Missile System at the 15th Edition of TURKEY’s International Defense Industry Fair 2021 or IDEX, being held on August 17-21, 2021 in Istanbul, TURKEY’s Ministry of Defense said in an official statement.

TURKISH Defense Giant METEKSAN Defense or METEKSAN Savunma Resmi has developed the NAZAR Electro-Optic (EO) and Infrared (IR) Guided Missile System in collaboration between the Republic of TURKEY and METEKSAN Defense.
The land-based NAZAR Electro-Optic (EO) and Infrared (IR) Guided Missile System will be exhibited for the very first time at the official Stall of METEKSAN Defense during the International IDEF 2021 Expo.
The Land-based System of NAZAR Electro-Optic (EO) and Infrared (IR) Guided Missiles is packed with the hi-tech laser that exhibits soft-kill capability against the different lethal EO/IR guided missiles in order to protect the critical infrastructure, bases and facilities.
The NAZAR Electro-Optic (EO) and Infrared (IR) Guided Missile System is crafted from a Technology that a handful of Countries across the globe are working on. It is Internationally accredited as the critical strategic project on the behalf of PAKISTAN Iron Brother TURKEY with its hi-tech and next generation soft-kill laser capability.
The NAZAR Electro-Optic (EO) and Infrared (IR) Guided Missile System has been developed to quickly trace and track the Electro-Optic and Infrared Guided (EO/IR) guided missiles.
The system is also fully equipped to deploy laser-based soft-kill tactics against the incoming enemy projectiles and missiles. Thus, it is possible to destroy incoming hostile missiles and projectiles from a considerable long distance.
The NAZAR Electro-Optic (EO) and Infrared (IR) Guided Missile System is not only effective against the known Electro-Optic (EO) and Infrared (IR) Guided Missiles, but it is also features the robust and covert reconnaissance and surveillance operations in a complex hybrid warfare environment.

The NAZAR Electro-Optic (EO) and Infrared (IR) Guided Missiles can easily be deployed for surveillance and reconnaissance against the asymmetric threats, thanks to its state of the art, hi-tech, advanced and robust broadband operation capability.
The NAZAR EO/OR Guided Missile System is also effective and fully equipped and can be integrated with hi-tech sensors, cameras and systems to increase its overall efficiency.
In the very first stage, the NAZAR EO/IR Guided Missile System can easily be deployed on any mobile platform in order to transport to the desired location in accordance with the operational needs.
The electricity needed for the NAZAR EO/IR Guided Missile System is generated by its very own generator, so there is no need to deploy the extra power source.

Following the development of Land-based NAZAR EO/IR Guided Missile System, the necessary modifications will be made to increase the Anti-Ship Missile Hunt capabilities (ASMD), then it can also be deployed to Corvettes, Frigates, Warships and Destroyers.
Moreover, the NAZAR EO/IR Guided Missile System can also be used as the dedicated training kit for the further development, evaluation and testing of laser-based dazzle and soft-kill techniques.
