US, Afghan Forces Kill More Civilians Than Talibans – UN Report:

An eye opening report of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) has spilled the beans for the first time as occupied United States Forces and Afghan Security Forces have killed more innocent Afghan Civilians than by Taliban or any other faction operated in the South Asian Country.

According to the report issued by the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA), US and Pro-Government Security Forces were responsible for the massacre of 305 Afghan Civilians in the very first 3 months of the year, while the 227 People were killed by the various insurgent groups in the same time span in the war torn country.

United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) further urged the US and Pro-Government Security Forces and International Security Assistance Force  (ISAF) to conduct transparent investigations into the alleged civilian casualties by the named security forces. The UN Mission also urged to publish the findings of the investigation in front of public and to provide the appropriate compensation to the victims and their families.

United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) further elaborated that a majority of civilian casualties was occurred due to the air strikes which was carried by the US, allied and Pro-Government Security Forces and some of the forces are appear to have impunity for such genocide.

The UN Mission further elaborated that the overall rate of civilian casualties in Afghanistan has 23% decline as compared to the first three month’s casualties in the War Torn Country, Afghanistan. A total number of 3804 Afghan Civilians were killed alone in the year of 2018, and the numbers of military personnel are excluded from the list.

The latest announcement of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) comes at a time that US is engaged in the peace talks with the Taliban and it is seriously considering to reduce its soldiers in the country from the figure of 14,000 to 7,000. The remaining 7,000 forces will remain in Afghanistan together with the 8,600 International Troops within 3-5 years.

The Afghan Government is almost nailed by the upraising Struggle Taliban, which has been indulging in a conflict with the International, US and Afghan Troop for almost 2 decades.
