COAS General Bajwa Visits HQ Southern Command and Inaugurated The Newly Established NUST Campus in Quetta:

PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the Headquarter of Southern Command in Quetta on Friday. During the visit, the Commander Southern Command Lieutenant General Asim Saleem Bajwa briefed the COAS on the latest security situation and challenges in the region.

CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa also appreciated the ongoing progress of the Khushal Balochistan Program.

On the occasion, PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF General Qamar Javed Bajwa appreciated the efforts of PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES and Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) for maintaining the law and order situation in the province.

Later, PAKISTAN ARMY Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa inaugurated the newly established NUST Campus in the provincial capital.

The CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa had announced the campus back in 2017 and the campus is completed in the record time span of only 2 years.

Students of various educational institutes of Balochistan attended the opening ceremony of the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) Campus in Quetta.

While addressing the participants, students and talented youth of Balochistan, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said PAKISTAN is going through the evolution process of attaining the enduring peace and it will achieve that goal very soon, INSHALLAH.

The Chief Minister of Balochistan Mir Jamal Kamal Khan and the Interior Minister of Balochistan Mir Sarfaraz Bugti were also present during the inauguration ceremony.

COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa Urged the students to prepare themselves for the multiple forthcoming opportunities in different fields.

COAS General Bajwa said that the youth of the country is very talented and it is now the responsibility of the youth to move the country in the right direction of enduring peace and stability with the help of national cohesion and excellence.

During the occasion, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa  urged the different segments of PAKISTANI society to confront the future challenged with a synergetic approach.

A total of 550 students have enrolled for the very first batch of the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) Quetta campus.

Students have enrolled in different multi-disciplinary fields as the Mining/Tunneling Engineering, Computer Science, Water Resource Engineering Management, Civil Engineering and Computer and Allied Sciences. Till now the capacity of student is 550, which will be enhanced in the coming months.
