COAS General Bajwa Visits Family of Wing Commander Nauman Akram Shaheed:
PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa visited the home of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Wing Commander Nauman Akram Shaheed in Lahore on Sunday, 15th March, 2020, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Said in an official statement.
According to the details released by the PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing, the CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa Offered Fatiha and Prayed for the Departed Soul of PAF Wing Commander Nauman Akram Shaheed.
“We owe improved peace & stability to supreme sacrifices rendered by our martyrs. Their sacrifices won’t go waste.” CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa said on the occasion.
Earlier on March 11th, 2020, the COAS General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa paid a Glorious and Rich Tribute to PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Wing Commander Nauman Akram Shaheed, who sacrificed his Sacred Life by saving the Civilian Population of the city.
On the occasion, the COAS General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa Said” Laying one’s life is the ultimate sacrifice one can make for the Defense of the Motherland. May his soul rest in peace. My thoughts and sincere prayers for the bereaved family.”

PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Wing Commander Nauman Akram Shaheed is the same pilot, who flew with COAS General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa in a F-16 Falcon during his visit to Air Headquarters, Islamabad.
It is pertinent to mention that PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Wing Commander Nauman Akram Shaheed embraced martyrdom, when his F-16 got technical failure right above the populated areas in the capital city of Islamabad.
In order to save the Civilian Population, the Wing Commander Nauman Akram laid down his own precious life in the line of duty.
