Ambassador of Switzerland in PAKISTAN H.E Mr. Benedict De Cerjat held One on One high-profile and important meeting with CHIEF OF AIR STAFF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar At AIR HQ Islamabad on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Media Wing Head DGPR AIR FORCE Air Vice Marshal Tariq Zia said in an official statement.
According to the details released by the PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Media Wing Head, Ambassador of Switzerland H.E Mr. Benedict De Cerjat visits AIR HQ Islamabad and meets with CHIEF OF AIR STAFF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar.
During the meeting, both the dignitaries discussed various issues pertaining to ‘Mutual Interest and Professionalism,” including the further enhancement of Security and Defense relations between both the Countries, PAKISTAN and Switzerland.
On the occasion, the visiting dignitary highly commended and lauded the Professionalism of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Falcons that attain supremacy by honing their combat aviation skills.
“The visiting dignitary lauded the professionalism of PAF personnel and the exceptional progress made by PAF over the years, especially through indigenization,” DGPR Air Vice Marshal Tariq Zia said.
Ambassador of Switzerland in PAKISTAN H.E Mr. Benedict De Cerjat also acknowledged the exceptional progress made by PAKISTAN AIR FORCE over the years by adopting the policy of self-reliance and self-sufficiency in the Defense Sector.
“The AIR CHIEF highlighted that both countries enjoy cordial relations and reiterated his resolve to further enhance the existing bilateral cooperation between the air forces of the two countries,” DGPR AIR FORCE Air Vice Marshal Tariq Zia continued.

During the meeting, CHIEF OF AIR STAFF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar highlighted that both the countries enjoy decades-long cordial relations and reiterated his resolve to further enhance the bilateral relations between the Air Forces of both the countries.
It is expected that the recent high-profile meeting of the Swiss Envoy to PAKISTAN will help to further enhance the Bilateral Defense and Security relations between both the Countries, PAKISTAN and Switzerland.
