PAK ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Asim Munir inaugurated the Second Chapter of the National Aerospace Science and Technology Park (NASTP) Silicon to strengthen the Domain of Aerospace and Cyber Technology of Sacred Country PAKISTAN in a Graceful and Prestigious ceremony held at Karachi on Friday, Jan 12 2024, PAK ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said in an Official Statement.
According to the details, On his arrival at the venue, the PAK ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Asim Munir was received by PAK AIR FORCE CHIEF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar.
PAK ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Asim Munir inaugurated the Second Chapter of the National Aerospace Science and Technology Park (NASTP) Silicon to strengthen the Domain of Aerospace and Cyber Technology of Sacred Country PAKISTAN in a Graceful and Prestigious ceremony held at Karachi. PAK AIR FORCE CHIEF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
COAS General Asim Munir termed NASTP a project of national and strategic significance that would yield manifold benefits for the country since it would spur technological progress and foster self-reliance by offering a platform for the nation’s youth and future generations.
PAK ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Asim Munir praised the efforts of PAF, its leadership and its skilled personnel in the achievement of yet another milestone of NASTP Silicon.

PAK AIR FORCE CHIEF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar shared the vision for NASTP to become one of the best Aerospace, Cyber & IT Clusters and transform national landscape with design, R&D and innovation centers for emerging and disruptive technologies to accrue maximum social, economic, security and scientific dividends for the country.
Later, the CHIEF OF THE ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Asim Munir also visited Corps Headquarters Karachi. Corps Commander Karachi Corps welcomed the COAS General Asim Munir and briefed him about operational preparedness, training matters and administrative measures being taken for the welfare of the troops and Shuhada families.
