Chief of Defense General Staff Italian Armed Forces Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, who is on an official visit to the Sacred Country PAKISTAN, held One on One high-profile and important meeting with CHIEF OF AIR STAFF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar at AIR HQ Islamabad on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Media Wing DGPR AIR FORCE Air Vice Marshal Tariq Zia said in an official statement.
According to the details, the Chief of Defense General Staff Italian Armed Forces Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone visits PAKISTAN AIR FORCE HQ in Islamabad and held important meeting with PAK AIR CHIEF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar in his office.
During the meeting, both the dignitaries discussed various matters pertaining to “Professional and Mutual Interest” with special emphasis on Bilateral Defense and Security Collaboration between both the friendly countries, PAKISTAN and Italy.
On the occasion, the Chief of Defense General Staff Italian Armed Forces Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone highly lauded the Professionalism of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE and vowed to play his due role for further strengthening the Bilateral Collaboration and Cooperation in various domains, including Security and Defense.
During the meeting, Chief of Defense General Staff Italian Armed Forces Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone said that mutually beneficial interactions have deepened the bilateral Defense Relationship, strengthened the Bilateral Cooperation and Enhanced Mutual Understanding between the Two Friendly Countries, PAKISTAN and Italy.
CHIEF OF AIR STAFF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar reaffirmed that the decades-long relations between the two friendly countries will continue to increase in the future as well.
During the meeting, matters of regional security situation, mutual and professional interest with special emphasis on defence and security collaboration between the two countries were discussed. During the meeting, Chief of Defense General Staff Italian Armed Forces Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone and CAS Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar also agreed in principle to further revitalize the Defense and Security Ties, including indigenous production and training, between the ARMED, NAVAL and AIR FORCES of both the Brotherly countries.
It is highly expected that the recent high-profile visit of the Italian Chief of Defense Staff Armed Forces will significantly help to further strengthen the bilateral Defense and Security relationship between both the friendly countries, PAKISTAN and Italy.
