Keel laying ceremony of PAKISTAN NAVY’s Cutting-Edge and Highly Advanced Second Stealth Warship OPV-2600 held at Damen Shipyard Galati in Romania on Thursday, April 27, 2023, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Naeem Sarwar said in an Official Statement.
According to the details, Damen Shipyard Galati in Romania has hold the Keel Laying ceremony of PAKISTAN NAVY’s Hi-Tech Stealth Warship.
Ambassador of PAKISTAN to Romania graced the Keel Laying ceremony of the PAKISTAN NAVY’s Second Highly Advanced Stealth Warship as the Chief Guest.
The ceremony was attended by senior representatives of MoDP and Pakistan Navy besides officials of M/s DAMEN Netherlands and DAMEN Shipyard Galati, Romania.
After getting satisfactory performance of the 1st Batch of existing Offshore Patrol Vessels (PNS TABUK and PNS YARMOOK), PAKISTAN NAVY has inked the contract with the Damen Shipyard ROmanai for the construction of more 2nd Batch of highly Advanced and Cutting-edge Stealth Warships.
PAKISTAN NAVY’s newly constructed Stealth Warship OPV-2600 would by a highly potent Surface Combatant Platform of Sacred Country PAKISTAN that will be packed with the modern Weaponry, Missiles and Sensors to fight all domains of Maritime Warfare with pinpoint accuracy.
While addressing the ceremony, the Chief Guest underscored the importance of OPVs by emphasizing that these platforms will act as force multipliers in enhancing PAK NAVY capability of safeguarding maritime frontiers and will offer flexibility in conduct of PAKISTAN NAVY’s initiative of independent Regional Maritime Security Patrols particularly in the indian Ocean Region (iOR).
He added that PAKISTAN NAVY has been successfully playing its role in providing secure sea environment not only to Sacred Country PAKISTAN, but also to the world seafarers.
The Chief Guest of the Ceremony also highly lauded the professional shipbuilding competence of M/s DAMEN and appreciated the timely delivery of Stealth Warships to PAKISTAN NAVY at the record timeline.
It is highly expected that the recent construction and induction of such highly Potent Surface Combat Platform would acts a Formidable Force Multiplier for Sacred Country PAKISTAN and it will also strengthen the Offensive Capability of Sacred Country PAKISTAN in the next Upcoming Potential Conflict against the terrorist country india.
