Chief of Defense General Staff Italian Armed Forces Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, who is on an official visit to Sacred Country PAKISTAN, held One on One High-Profile important meeting with PAK ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ Rawalpindi on Thursday, June 23, 2022, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement.
According to the details, Chief of Defense General Staff Italian Armed Forces Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone visits GHQ Rawalpindi and meets with the CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ Rawalpindi in his office.
During the meeting, both the dignitaries discussed various matters pertaining to “Professional and Mutual Interest”, including the recent regional security situation.
Both the dignitaries also discussed the enhanced military cooperation in the domains of Counter Terrorism, Training and Mutual Collaboration.
On the occasion, the COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that the Sacred Country PAKISTAN highly valued its decades-long relations with the Friendly Country Italy and earnestly looks forwards to further enhance the mutually beneficial multi-domain and multi-faceted relations, while forging strong defense Cooperation based on common and mutual interests.

Chief of Defense General Staff Italian Armed Forces Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone also lauded the role of PAKISTAN SECURITY FORCES for maintaining the eternal stability in the region.
Italian Chief of Defense Staff also pledged to play all his due role for further augmenting the Military and Diplomatic Cooperation with Friendly Country PAKISTAN at all domains, including Defense and Security.
