Commissioning Ceremony Of PAKISTAN NAVY Second Type 054 Stealth Warship PNS TAIMUR Held At Hudong Zhonghua Shipyard In CHINA:
Commissioning Ceremony of PAKISTAN NAVY’s Second Type 054 Stealth Warship ‘PNS TAIMUR’ held at CHINESE State-owned Hudong Zhonghua Shipyard in CHINA on Thursday, June 23, 2022, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Naeem Sarwar said in an official statement.
According to the details, PAKISTAN NAVY Second Type 054 Stealth Warship PNS TAIMU has been Commissioned at the Hudong Zonghua Shipyard in CHINA. Head of PAKISTAN NAVY Mission at CHINA Commodore Rashid Mehmood graced the occasion as the Chief Guest of the Ceremony.
PNS TAIMUR is the Second Type 054 Advanced Stealth Warship of PAKISTAN NAVY from the total of four Type 054 A/P Frigates that are being constructed in CHINA.
PAKISTAN NAVY First Type 054 Stealth Warship PNS TUGHRIL has joined the PAKISTAN NAVY Combat Fleet back in January 2022, while the other Two Stealth Warships are undergoing construction phase in CHINA.
PAKISTAN NAVY’s Second Stealth Warship PNS TAIMUR is a Technologically Advanced and most capable Surface Combatant that is equipped and armed with state of the art and hi-tech Weapons, Missiles, Smart Munitions, Sensors and Latest Combat Management System.
PNS TAIMUR is also equipped with the hi-tech and state of the art Electronic Warfare System that makes it a potent surface combatant to fight under multi-threat environment.
These Modern and Stealth Surface Combatants will provide a much-needed ‘Heavy Punch’ to PAKISTAN NAVY and will take the Combat Capability of PAKISTAN NAVY to all new level.
Moreover, the induction of Such Capable Surface Combatants will also help the PAKISTAN NAVY to meet the emerging and evolving Challenges in the domain of Maritime Security and Regional Peace.
While speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest of the Ceremony, Head of PAKISTAN NAVY Mission at CHINA Commodore Rashid Mehmood, highlighted the induction of such hi-tech and capable Stealth Warships in PAKISTAN NAVY Combatant Fleet.
“The Chief Guest underlined that induction of state-of-the-art Type 054 A/P Frigates will significantly enhance PAKISTAN NAVY capabilities in strengthening Defense of sea frontier,” DGPR NAVY said.
Head of PAKISTAN NAVY Mission at CHINA Commodore Rashid Mehmood said that the induction of PNS TAIMUR Stealth Warship will significantly enhance the First-Strike and Offensive capability of PAKISTAN NAVY against india, the arch-rival of both Iron Brothers PAKISTAN and CHINA.
The Chief Guest of the ceremony also lauded the distinctive and concerted efforts made by the CHINA State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), CHINA Shipbuilding Trading Company (CSTC), CHINA Ship Development & Design Centre (CSDDC), HZ Shipyard and the PEOPLE’S LIBERATION ARMY (NAVY) for landmark achievement and timely delivery of such potent and capable Surface Combatant.
In his address, the Deputy Director General Military Product Dept CHINA said underlined that the both Iron Brothers PAKISTAN and CHINA are cognizant of changing geopolitical and security environment and both Iron Brothers are taking effective measures to deal with the evolving challenges together.

“Both Iron Brothers PAKISTAN and CHINA are cognizant of changing geopolitical environment and taking effective measures to deal with the added responsibilities and evolving challenges together,” DGPR NAVY continued.
Deputy Director General Military Product Dept CHINA added that the Brotherhood and Friendship between both Iron Brother Countries, PAKISTAN and CHINA, is a Pillar of Peace and Stability in the region.
The Commissioning Ceremony of PAKISTAN NAVY Second Stealth Warship PNS TAIMUR was attended by the high-level dignitaries from the PEOPLE’S LIBERATION ARMY (NAVY), BOMETEC, OIMC, SASTIND, PLA ( N ) and CSSC besides Chairmen of CSTC & HZ Shipyard along with prominent PAKISTANI and CHINESE dignitaries.
