Deputy Commander Iraqi Air Force Held One On One Important Meeting With CAS Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar At AIR HQ Islamabad:
The Deputy Commander of Iraq Air Force Major General (Pilot) Muhammad Majeed Mahdi Mahmood held One on One important meeting with CHIEF OF AIR STAFF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar at Air Headquarters Islamabad on Thursday, September 23, 2021, PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Media Wing Head DGPR AIR FORCE said in an official statement.
According to the details released by the PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Media Wing Head, Deputy Commander Iraq Air Force Major General (Pilot) Muhammad Majeed Mahdi Mahmood, along with full delegation, visits AIR HQ and meets with the PAK AIR CHIEF Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar.
Later, both dignitaries held One on One important and high-profile meeting in the office of CAS Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar.
“A delegation led by Major General (Pilot) Muhammad Majeed Mahdi Mahmood, Deputy Commander Iraqi Air Force, called on Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, CHIEF OF AIR STAFF, PAKISTAN AIR FORCE in his office today. During the meeting, both the dignitaries discussed matters of professional and mutual interest,” DGPR AIR FORCE said.
During the meeting, both the dignitaries discussed various matters of mutual and professional interest, including the recent regional security situation.
On the occasion, the Deputy Commander of Iraq Air Force highly lauded the professionalism of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE and acknowledged the indigenization and self-reliance policy.
“Major General (Pilot) Muhammad Majeed Mahdi Mahmood, commended the professionalism of PAF and acknowledged its rising indigenous capacity in the aviation industry,” DGPR AIR FORCE added.
During the meeting, PAK AIR CHIEF, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar categorially made it clear that both Brotherly ISLAMIC Countries, PAKISTAN and Iraq, enjoys longstanding religious, historical and cultural bonds, which are manifested through the decades long ties between both the AIR FORCES.
“The AIR CHIEF said that PAKISTAN and Iraq enjoy longstanding religious, cultural and historical bonds which are manifested through strong ties between the Air Forces of the two countries,” DGPR AIR FORCE quoted CAS Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar.

The Air Chief assured the visiting dignitary that PAF would continue to provide training and technical support to Iraqi Air Force in meeting its air power requirements .

CAS Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar assured the visiting dignitary that PAKISTAN AIR FORCE would continue to provide technical support and training to the Iraqi Air Force, which would help to meet all its air power requirements.
On the occasion, both Commanders also agreed on further enhancing the Bilateral Defense and Security relations and to explore further domains of cooperation, including the PAKISTAN’s Pride JF-17 Thunder Program.
