PAKISTAN AIR FORCE has promoted the Air Vice Marshal Hamid Rashid Randhawa to the Rank of Air Marshal of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE with immediate effect on Monday, 12th April, 2020, PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Media Wing Head DGPR AIR FORCE said in an official statement.

PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Promotes Air Vice Marshal Hamid Rashid Randhawa To The Rank Of Air Marshal

The newly promoted Air Marshal Hamid Rashid Randhawa was commissioned in GD (P) Branch of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE in June 1988.

During his illustrious career, the major command staff appointments of Air Marshal Hamid Rashid Randhawa has commanded the Flying Wing of an Operational Airbase and a Fighter Squadron.

The major staff appointments of Air Marshal Hamid Rashid Randhawa served as the Personal Staff Officer of the CHIEF OF AIR STAFF (CAS) and Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Safety).

He has also performed the duties as Air Officer Commanding PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Asghar Khan Academy and Additional Secretary at the Ministry of Defense.

Currently, he is serving as the Inspector General Air Force at Air Headquarters Islamabad. He is a graduate of National Defense University (NDU) and Air Combat Commanders School, Islamabad.

During his illustrious career, he was decorated with the Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Military), Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military) and Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military) for serving the his Sacred Country PAKISTAN

It is pertinent to mention that PAKISTAN has previously appointed the Air Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu as the new CHIEF OF AIR STAFF (CAS) of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE. He is the son of the Religious Scholar Ghulam Mohammad.

CAS Air Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar is the third CHIEF OF AIR STAFF (CAS) of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE. Who belongs from Gujrat.

CAS Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan joined the PAKISTAN AIR FORCE back in 1986 as a fighter pilot and had commanded the Operational Airbase, Fighter Squadron and he also served as the head of Regional Air Commander.

Hi major appointments include Assistant Chief of the Air Staff (Training Officers), Assistant Chief of the Air Staff (Operation Research & Development), Additional Secretary at Ministry of Defense and Director General Projects at Air Headquarters Islamabad.

For his services to the Sacred Country PAKISTAN, he has been decorated with Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military) and Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Military).
