4th International PAKISTAN ARMY Team Spirit Competition (PATS) 2021 kicks off at the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC), Pabbi near Kharian with the Participation of 8 Allied Countries on Monday, 1st March, 2021, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement on the official microblogging handler.

According to the details released by the Inter-Services Public Relations or ISPR, a total of 8 domestic teams and 8 Allied Countries of PAKISTAN are participating in the 3 day long International Tournament, including TURKEY, Sri Lanka, Jordan and Uzbekistan. Whereas, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Indonesia and Morocco will be participating in the event in the 3-day long competition.

“Besides 8 domestic teams of the PAKISTAN ARMY, teams from 8 Allied Countries will also participate in the competition. Teams from Jordan, Sri Lanka, Turkey and Uzbekistan will take part as participants whereas Morocco, Indonesia, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan will be participating as observers in this 3 days long competition,” DG ISPR added.

4th International PAKISTAN ARMY Team Spirit Competition (PATS) 2021 is designed to enhance and test the physical and tactical skills of all the participants in the professional domains, as well as their agility to generate a response in the challenged real-time battlefield scenarios.

“The competition is designed to test tactical skills in physical and professional domains as well as agility of the participating teams to generate responses in challenging real-time field scenarios,” DG ISPR said.

In the 62 hour long event, all the participating teams will complete different tasks, including close target reconnaissance, water obstacle crossing, physical endurance and protective approach under the Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Environment.

“62 hours long event will subject the teams to various cross-domain scenarios and will encompass tasks including physical endurance, water obstacle crossing, close target reconnaissance and protective approach under chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear environment,” DG ISPR said.

It is pertinent to mention that since 2018, the PAKISTAN ARMY Team Spirit Competition (PATS) is being held each year to test the endurance and physical ability of soldiers of participating countries.

The inclusion of 8 Allied Countries in the 4th International PAKISTAN ARMY Team Spirit Competition (PATS) 2021 is a clear manifestation that different Brotherly and Friendly Countries show complete confidence and trust on enhancing Defense and Security relations with the Sacred Country of PAKISTAN.
