51st Martyrdom Anniversary Of Sowar Muhammad Hussain Shaheed Recipient Of Nishan-E-Haider Observes Today:

The 51st Martyrdom Anniversary of Sowar Muhammad Hussain Shaheed, Recipient of Nishan-E-Haider (NH) is being observed at the Dhoke Muhammad Hussain in Gujjar Khan on Saturday, December 10, 2022, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR said in an Official Statement.

During the 1971 battle of PAKISTAN-india, Sowar Muhammad Hussain Shaheed received a burst of the machine gun by the enemy on the Chest and embraced Martyrdom on 10th December, 1971.

Sowar Muhammad Hussain Shaheed, Recipient of Nishan-E-Haider, fought fearlessly against the coward indian security forces in the 1971 PAKISTAN-india war that results in the total destruction of 16 indian army tanks in the battle, thus proving that Courage knows no bounds.

Sowar Muhammad Hussain Shaheed was born on 18th January, 1949 at Jatli village in Gujjar Khan and he enrolled as the driver and after training joined the 20 Lancers.

During the 1971 PAKISTAN-india war, Sowar Muhammad Hussain Shaheed embraced Shahadat on 10th December 1971, while fighting gallantly against the coward indian security forces at Zafarwal-Shakargarh Sector.

His act of bravery act led to the destruction of 16 indian army tanks in the 1971 PAKISTAN-india battle, which cost the enemy a lot during the battle.

In recognition of his acts of Ultimate Courage and Bravery, Sowar Hussain Shaheed was awarded with the Coveted Nishan-e-Haider, the Highest Gallantry Medal of Sacred Country PAKISTAN.

In this connection, General Officer Commanding (GOC) Major General Muhammad Irfan laid floral wreath at the Mausoleum at Dhoke Muhammad Hussain near Gujar Khan and paid Rich Tribute to the One of the Bravest Son of this Sacred Country PAKISTAN.

A smartly turned out contingent of the PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES presented the Guard of Honor to the Sowar Muhammad Hussain Shaheed at his Mausoleum at Dhoke Muhammad Hussain near Gujjar Khan.

Various people from different walks of life, civil and military officials and relatives of Shuhada attended the wreath laying ceremony at the Mausoleum of Sowar Muhammad Hussain Shaheed at Dhoke Muhammad Hussain near Gujar Khan.
