CHINESE State Councillor and Foreign Minister H.E. Mr. Qin Gang Discusses CPEC And Matters Of Mutual Interest With COAS General Asim Munir At GHQ Rawalpindi:
CHINESE State Councillor and Foreign Minister H.E. Mr. Qin Gang, who is on an official visit to Sacred Country PAKISTAN, and PAK ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Asim Munir discussed the PAKISTAN-CHINA Multi-Billion Dollars Economic Corridor (CPEC) and other Matters of Professional and Mutual Interest at GHQ Rawalpindi on Saturday, May 6, 2023, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said in an Official statement.
According to the details, CHINESE State Councillor and Foreign Minister H.E. Qin Gang visit GHQ Rawalpindi and held One on One high-profile and important meeting with the COAS General Asim Munir at GHQ Rawalpindi.
During the meeting, CHINESE State Councillor and Foreign Minister H.E. Mr. Qin Gang and COAS General Asim Munir discussed CPEC and other matters of ‘Professional and Mutual Interest’, including the ways to further enhance the Strategic Partnership between the both Iron Brother Countries, PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA and Sacred Country PAKISTAN.
On the occasion, PAK ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Asim Munir also pledged full support for China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project, which is a vital component of China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).
PAK ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Asim Munir also highly appreciated the unwavering support of PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA for Sacred Country PAKISTAN on various Regional and International Issues.
CHINESE State Councillor and Foreign Minister H.E. Mr. Qin Gang underscored the importance of the longstanding strategic relationship between the Iron Brother Countries, Sacred Country PAKISTAN and PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA, and expressed his satisfaction over the progress made on the CPEC while reiterating PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA’s commitment to its timely completion.
CHINESE State Councillor and Foreign Minister H.E. Mr. Qin Gang also appreciated the Sacred Country PAKISTAN’s efforts in maintaining regional peace and stability, especially the support Brave and Valiant PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES for provision of security to CHINESE Nationals and projects in different areas of Sacred Country PAKISTAN.
On the occasion, the two dignitaries also discussed the evolving security situation in the region.
COAS General Asim Munir highly acknowledged PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA’s role in promoting peace and stability in the region, and both sides agreed to enhance their existing cooperation in Defense and Security domains to effectively counter common security challenges.
The meeting concluded on a positive note, with both sides reiterating their resolve to further strengthen the time-tested, all-weather friendship between both Iron Brothers, Sacred Country PAKISTAN and PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA.
