COAS Gen Asim Munir Held One On One High-Profile And Important Meetings With TURKISH President H.E Recep Tayyip Erdogan And Top TURKISH MILITARY Leadership During Maiden Visit To TURKIYE:

PAK ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Asim Munir held One on One high-profile and important meetings with the TURKISH President His Excellency Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Top Senior TURKISH MILITARY Leadership during Maiden visit to PAKISTAN Iron Brother TURKIYE on Wednesday, September 13 2023, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said in an Official Statement.

According to the details, PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Asim Munir, who is on an Official Maiden visit to PAKISTAN Iron Brother TURKIYE, held One on One important meetings with the Top Senior TURKISH Civil and Military Leadership.

During the maiden visit to PAKISTAN Iron Brother TURKIYE, the CHIEF OF THE ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Asim Munir held One on One high-profile and important meeting with the TURKISH President His Excellency Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Foreign and Defense Ministers, Commander of TURKISH General Staff and Commanders of Turkish LAND  and AIR FORCES.

During the different interactions, the PAK ARMY CHIEF General Asim Munir and the TURKISH Dignitaries discussed various matters on ‘Mutual and Professional Interest’.

The CHIEF OF THE ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Asim Munir emphasized on enhancing Defense collaboration and training cooperation.

CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Asim Munir highly appreciated the TURKISH MILITARY’s efforts for maintaining peace and stability in the region and also praised the standards of operational readiness of Brave and Valiant TURKISH ARMED FORCES.

COAS General Asim Munir visited the Mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in Ankara to pay homage to the great leader and laid floral wreath in his honor.

On the occasion, the TURKISH Leadership acknowledged the efforts extended by PAKISTAN ARMY Engineers, who worked along NDMA Teams during the unfortunate earthquake that hit TURKIYE in February this year.

COAS General Asim Munir later visited the Headquarters of the Brave and Valiant TURKISH LAND FORCES, where on his arrival he was given a warm welcome and was presented with the Guard of Honour.

During the ceremony COAS highlighted that, “Both Iron Brothers Sacred Country PAKISTAN and PAKISTAN Iron Brother TURKIYE have strong brotherly relations which have always stood the test of times,” PAK ARMY CHIEF said.

Sacred Country PAKISTAN has always stood with their Brave and Valiant TURKISH Brothers in times of calamity and moments of triumph and shall continue to strengthen the fraternal ties amongst the two nations.”

On the occasion, the PAK ARMY CHIEF General Asim Munir was also conferred with the Prestigious and Coveted Legion of Merit by the Minister of Defense and COMMANDER TURKISH LAND FORCES in recognition of his services towards promoting Security and Defense relations between two Iron Brother Countries, Sacred Country PAKISTAN and PAKISTAN Iron Brother TURKIYE.
