COAS General Bajwa Vows PAKISTAN CHINA Joint Military Drills Will Increase Interoperability And Combat Readiness Of Both Brotherly Forces:
CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the Ninth Edition of PAKISTAN CHINA Joint Air Exercise Shaheen-IX at the Operational Air Base of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE on Friday December 18, 2020, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head Director General Public Relations (DGPR) Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official Statement on the Official Twitter account.

According to the details released by the PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing ISPR, the ongoing Shaheen-IX Joint Air Drills between PAKISTAN AIR FORCE (PAF) And PEOPLE’s LIBERATION ARMY AIR FORCE (PLAAF) is the 9th consecutive exercise.

The Shaheen or Eagle Series Exercise started back in 2011 in PAKISTAN and since then, the Exercise held in Brotherly and Friendly Countries PAKISTAN and CHINA on an alternative basis.
While addressing the participants of the exercise, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that the Shaheen-IX Joint Air Drills between PAF and PLAAF will help to significantly enhance the interoperability and Combat Readiness between the Forces of both the Brotherly Countries.
COAS general Bajwa also added that Shaheen-IX will also help to enhance the harmony and strength between the ARMED FORCES of both the Brotherly Countries.
PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa added that such joint exercises and joint ventures are vital to increase the Offensive Capabilities and Combat Readiness of both the Brotherly Countries in order to face the complex emerging Geo-Strategic challenges.
Later, CHIEF OF THE ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa also lauded the dedication and professional expertise of fighter pilots of PAF and PLAAF. COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa also reiterated the significance of inter-services harmony and synergy for Operational success.

Earlier upon arrival at the Operational Air Base of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa was warmly welcomed, greeted and received by the CHIEF OF AIR STAFF (CAS) Air Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan.
