COAS General Bajwa Vows POF Serves As Formidable Force In Defense Of PAKISTAN:

CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa paid an important and official visit to PAKISTAN Ordnance Factories (POF) at Wah Cantt on November 27, 2020, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a press release.

During the visit, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa was given the detailed briefing capabilities and performance of various production units at PAKISTAN Ordnance Factories.

CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa was given a comprehensive briefing on the ongoing, latest and future projects, including the cost effective and sustainable production and the efforts to for the acquisition of modern technology in line with the operational requirements of PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES.

“Technological up-gradation / modernization and indigenous development to attain self-reliance in defense production is vital to meet the challenges of future battlefield,” DG ISPR quoted COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

During the visit, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that PAKISTAN Ordnance Factories (POF) act as a formidable force for the Defense of the Sacred country PAKISTAN.

“The COAS visited Display Lounge where newly developed Defense products were showcased,” ISPR said in a press release.

CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa also briefed about the progress of the several International ventures focusing on increasing exports that would also significantly help for the economic stability of PAKISTAN.

On the occasion, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa also witnessed the newly developed weapons and Defense Products manufactured by the Scientists and Engineers of PAKISTAN Ordnance Factories (POF).

During the visit, the CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa highly lauded and appreciated the Staff and Management of PAKISTAN Ordnance Factories (POF) for their strong resolve, dedication and professional expertise.

Earlier on arrival at the PAKISTAN Ordnance Factories (POF), CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa was warmly welcomed, greeted and received by the Chairman PAKISTAN Ordnance Factories (POF) Lieutenant General Bilal Akbar.
