COAS General Bajwa Vows Terrorists Won’t Be Allowed To Destabilize Peace Efforts During Visit To Corps HQ Quetta:
CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the Corps Headquarters Quetta on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement.
According to the details released by the PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head ISPR, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the Corps Headquarter Quetta, where he was briefed thoroughly on the recent regional security situation, operational preparedness, combat readiness and border management along the PAK-Afghan and PAK-Iran Borders.
While speaking on the occasion, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa categorically made it clear that PAKISTAN ARMY will leave no stone unturned and will make all the possible efforts for the achievement of long and enduring peace in Balochistan that is viable for the sustainable socio-economic development of Balochistan.
“Terrorists won’t be allowed to destabilize peace efforts,” COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa said.
On the occasion, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa emphasized that all-out efforts and assistance would be provided to the provincial government in ensuring the law and order situation of the province. COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa highly lauded and appreciated the high morale and dedicated continued efforts of Officers and Men of the ARMED FORCES of PAKISTAN.
The military’s media wing said that Gen Qamar was also apprised of the socio-economic initiatives undertaken by the army in support of the government of Balochistan and efforts underway for capacity enhancement of law enforcement agencies (LEAs) to ensure peace and stability.

Earlier, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa also visited the Command & Staff College Quetta, where he addresses the Officers, Men and Faculty of the College.
Speaking on the occasion, COAS emphasized PAKISTAN’s resolve and determination to confront the global phenomenon of terrorism by adopting a whole of nation approach.
On the arrival at the Corps Headquarters, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa was warmly received and welcomed by the Corps Commander Lieutenant General Sarfraz Ali.
