Commander Of Sri Lankan Navy Held One On One High Profile And Important Meeting With COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa At GHQ Rawalpindi:
Commander of Sri Lanka Navy Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne, who is on an official visit to Sacred Country PAKISTAN, held One on One high profile and important meeting with CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ Rawalpindi on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement.
According to the details, Commander of Sri Lanka Navy Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne visits GHQ Rawalpindi and meets with PAK ARMY CHIEF General Qamar Javed Bajwa at General Headquarters Rawalpindi.
During the meeting, both the dignitaries discussed matters pertaining to ‘Professional and Mutual Interest’, including the recent regional security situation and the current situation of Afghanistan.
Both the dignitaries also discussed the various ways to further enhance and augment the existing Bilateral Defense and Military to Military relationship between both the Friendly Countries, PAKISTAN and Sri Lanka.
On the occasion, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that PAKISTAN wishes to further enhance the long-term multi-domain relationship with Sri Lanka in various domains, including Defense and Security.
“COAS said that PAKISTAN wishes to enhance long term multi-domain relations with Sri Lanka based on common interests. COAS reiterated that all regional countries need to work collectively for enduring peace and stability,” DG ISPR Quoted COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa reiterated the firm resolve that all the regional countries need to work collectively for enduring peace and stability.
During the meeting, the visiting dignitary highly lauded the Professionalism of PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES and pledged to play his due role to further enhance the Military to Military cooperation and collaboration between the ARMED, NAVAL and AIR FORCES of both the Friendly Countries.
Commander of Sri Lankan Navy Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne also appreciated the Professionalism of PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES in stabilizing the Afghan Situation and the Special efforts for Border Management to maintain eternal security.
It is expected that the recent meeting of the Sri Lanka Navy Commander with PAK ARMY CHIEF will help to further strengthen the existing Military to Military Collaboration and Cooperation between the NAVAL, AIR FORCE and ARMED FORCES of both the friendly regional Countries.
