COAS General Bajwa Held One On One Important Meetings With TURKISH Defense Minister and Top TURKISH Commanders During Official Visit To TURKEY:

CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa, who is on an official visit to Iron Brother Country TURKEY, held One on One important meetings with TURKISH Defense Minister and Top TURKISH Commanders on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement.

According to the details released by the PAKISTANA RMY Media Wing Head, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa held important meetings with TURKISH Defense Minister H.E General Hulusi Akar (Retd), Commander of the TURKISH Land Forces H.E General Umit Dundar and Commander TURKISH General Staff H.E General Yasar Guler.

During the meeting, both the dignitaries discuss matters of professional and mutual interest and the recent regional security situation.

Both the dignitaries also discussed the recent developments in the Afghan Peace Process and the prospects to further increase the existing Bilateral Security and Defense Relations between both the Brotherly Countries, PAKISTAN and TURKEY.

On the occasion, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa highly acknowledged and lauded the engagements of TURKEY with PAKISTAN especially for the continuity of eternal peace in the region.

“COAS acknowledged the Turkish engagements with PAKISTAN especially the ongoing efforts for continuing the positivity for peace in the region. He also reiterated that TURKEY is one of the key Muslim countries in the region and that enhanced PAKISTAN-TURKEY cooperation will have a positive impact on regional peace and stability,” DG ISPR said.

CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa also reiterated that PAKISTAN Iron Brother TURKEY is one of the Key BROTHERLY MUSLIM Countries in the region that has significantly enhanced its cooperation with PAKISTAN and it will have a positive effect on the overall regional peace and stability.

The dignitaries highly appreciated and lauded the due positive role of PAKISTAN for maintaining the regional peace and stability, especially the ongoing Afghan Peace Process.

The dignitaries also pledged to continue their cooperation with PAKISTAN for long-term regional peace and stability.

“The dignitaries appreciated PAKISTAN’s positive role for regional peace and stability, especially the Afghan peace process and pledged to continue working for better relations between two brotherly countries,” DG ISPR added.

Earlier on arrival, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa was presented the Guard of Honor by the smartly turned out Military Contingent.

It is expected that the recent high-profile visit of PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF General Qamar Javed Bajwa to the Iron Brother Country TURKEY will significantly help to further strengthen the existing Military and Security Cooperation and Collaboration between the Two Iron Brother Countries, PAKISTAN and TURKEY.
